Missed you all at GENCON. Heard all the HIV & V events were cancelled but no one had any details. What happened? Hopefully not another disaster...

Yes, I brought my stuff and went by about twice a day to see if anything changed but no dice (and no cards either).
Doc, you and I should have arranged to meet. But I kind of figured everyone would be in room 151.
Hope all is well too.

Cards (and a little bit of information) were at the Steve Jackson games booth this year.
I tried to go to an event as well, and no one is there. And then I just happened to stumble across the cards in the Steve Jackson games booth.
Someone there was able to tell me that the DGA guys weren't coming, and that Heroes V wasn't coming.
They did have Stormwinds boosters (starting Saturday), as well as starters and original boosters available there.

Wow.
How would we have known to look for it there?
I looked at the booth that sold it last year and it was non-existent. I was really hoping to pickup some Stormwinds too.
Very disappointing.

I agree, I even asked at the booth from last year and they had no idea what I was talking about.
It was completely random luck that I happened to see the cards in the Steve Jackson games booth.
Really disappointing.

And still no word from Jonathan....
I missed out on the Storm Winds cards too, and also checked with Game Station, the only people who had cards last year.

I grabbed a couple packs of the Stormwinds cards.
They were more expensive, and packed in a really obnoxious bubble package.
I wish I could tell you more about the contents, but I think I left them at the house I was crashing at when I left gencon. Hopefully I'll find them next time I'm up there.
I think I got 3 packs of despair and one of hope. I remember there were also advanced hereoes of all alignments mixed in. And unfortunately that's about all Iremember.
