Okay, so this isn't extra nifty, but I'll add a word of description to make up for the inferior quality of my imagework.

As promised, an image. Obviously, what we see here is a bit of an inter-island battle. The aggressor appears to be strongly dependant on on-the-spot instant magical summons of various types, from plain infantry to some sort of beast and a spellcasting spirit. Yay, the latter builds bridges! How convenient, eh?
The rogue island appears to be invading on a more defensive player, probably a merchant.

For simplicity's sake, I have cut the landscape. So yeah, I'm lazy. Sue me if you care.

I really try not to bore people with long posts but sometimes I just can't help it especially when I get reflective. ;-) I hope the title won't scare you off. :-P

Graveyard For Love

I fist came up with this when I peeled off the wrap of my Nestle chocolate bar and carelessly tossed in the trash bin.

"This used to be important to me," I thought with a faint smile. A fact too. When I was a little child - yeah, I was learning to add numbers then - I had a big collection of candy wraps. I had local and foreign brands, big wraps, small wraps, all kept meticulously folded in a boxed I kept under my bed in my room. Ah those were the days when the object of my biggest jealousy wouldn't have been a Ferrari or a handsome man, but a simple wrap of dark Lindt chocolate.

I had other little short-lived manias like this. At one point I collected pieces of ceramic tiles - I'd spend hours and hours after school looking around new buildings and I'd hide them in a secret stash next to the house. That's nothing compared to the question, "what will you become when you grow up". First I was going to be a journalist. Then a vet. Later I decided I'd be laywer. In high school I settled on an "accountant" and by now I've moved on to something else. So all of these used to inspire me and make my days, used to being the key word here.

So I thought about all my dreams and reveries in the past year. I started counting... and I lost count. So many plans were made, plans I was driving forward to in earnest, and they were left behind.

And then I thought, dreams and passions are just like people: they have lives of their own. They are born, have their impact on me and then I let go. But where do passions go when I'm through with them? Is there a graveyard for passion?

I fancied all my past dreams and plans now cold and dead with only a little gravestone with an epitaph to be summarized and remembered by. In my mind's eye I could take a virtual tour at this curios site. I could even stop by and and look at the synopses, and they would read something like "job application at company X", another "nails class", one named "idea for the best stort-story ever", etc, etc. All of them lined up together. Some of these were forcefully killed by circumstances, some died naturally with their own with age. Just like people, some came and went too fast but most generated offspring which in turned into a current dream before dying away. The graveyard of my dreams and passions is all full but again just humankind, there is no way to stop death/change and even if the mortuary getting too inhabited, more arrivals will come.

Just like people, some ideas and plans are not only short-lived but they are also vicious and not worth remembering. A few of them I wished never existed at all. I'm not proud at all to be the parent of others. On the other hand thought, certain passions it seems are worthy of spectacular tombs or gravestones. Those who've passed from my heart (even though some not from my sight) should be seperated in a VIP session with neons lights on. But even so when not attended, one day they will too fall into obscurity.

Which is sad considering once they were of great importance to me. This in turn means that what makes my heart race now, for this or that reason they'll be resting alone one day, which makes me feel much better. Certain passions a person anxiously awaits to die so she could bury them and move on but alas, they just don't want to go and haunt us like restless spirits. Dreams, passions and love, which seem to me to be a part of a continuum, have not only death but a life of their own and they struggle to keep it. Some win. Most however, end up with their passed-away comrades. Life would be so much easier if I could "indulge the passing dreams of choice", choosing what I want to move me or to which I could be totally indifferent. I wish some passions in my never died, just like I wish others could go and leave me alone. Death is rarely by request though.

Of all that's ever been important to me I know there will be a very tightly guarded, sacred section. I close my eyes and imagine the mortuary of my buried love. What kind of epitaphs would I put on? "Lith - an ocean of confidence, a sea of intelligence" maybe? And my giant Schaunzer Bettie who passed away years ago (from my sight but not from my heart) what about her epitaph? "Black coat, bright soul"?

As if a single sentence could only sum up a person's passion, dreams and love. However, as time passes and new generations of those come around, all that's left is the memory... that essence that remains.

I suppose this is all that counts too.

Ok that's it for the fifth round. Wow, it seems like only yesterday that we were starting this contest and now look at us. The deadline for contestants to Post their talents passed a few hours ago (sorry, I was sleeping ) and as usual, they will NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT FROM THIS POINT ON...to keep things fair & even on the weekend. Seeing as how all 9 contestants showcased their talents this week, things should continue heating up and get really tight with the voting.

HC members, including those already eliminated, you are now free to vote for your favourite "performer" AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WISH. Just send me IMs or emails and I'll have the results posted in this Thread in around 48 hours.
REMINDER *Please direct all comments, feedback, questions, or discussion of the talent contest (here).

Hello everyone and welcome back to the sixth round of HC's Got Talent!

Before I begin with this week's Results Post, I want you to know right away that there is a MAJOR SURPRISE this week! To find out what it is, just keep on reading through this Post.

I have to tell you, last week was all about "keeping up trends". What do I mean by that? Well, in addition to my predictions that the competition would become tougher on all levels the longer it goes on (which it is), and for the contestants to continue showcasing amazing talents week after week (which they are); the voting was as steady as I have ever seen it! Does that mean that the results will be the same as last week? Let's find out...

The 48 hour window for HC members to vote for their favourite performers officialy closed a few hours ago (sorry for the delay, but my cold is really kicking my butt ). And now that I have hinted towards what those votes might mean to the contestants, let's not waste anymore time with speculation and get down to the business of getting our facts straight!
*As usual, I will start things off by naming the contestants who received the most votes from their fellow HC members. And as I mentionned above, this week's results are going to look pretty similiar to last week, but not completely the same. So, please join me in congratulating our Top 3 Vote-receiving Contestants:
William (for the 3rd time), Lady_Milena (for the 3rd week in a row & 4th time so far), & Kookastar (for the 3rd time)!

All 3 of you were as consistant as ever with your creative, unique, and ultimately...interesting talents. And it seems that the voters will just keep on rewarding you for it.

*Now that these 3 contestants have secured their place in the competition for another week (and no...that was not the MAJOR SURPRISE), it's only fair that we reveal which other contestants will be joining them in round #6. So, the second thing that the results have to show us is this week is that the list of contestants at risk of elimination includes some names that were on the list last week. But which ones, you ask? Well, there is a 2-way tie between:
-Celfious
-Lord_Woock

So now, I hope that you can all see how the results from the previous round are similar to this one. It seems that the voters were once again very picky with their selections and that, despite their one-of-a-kind talents, these 2 contestants have found themselves "at risk of elimination" for the second time in a row.

*So, have you already figured what the MAJOR SURPRISE this week is? Well, you couldn't have, because I am just about to let the secret out now! Let me put an end to all of this suspense by telling you that there is going to be a double elimination at this time! As a formality, I will add links to the identity of the contestants who are leaving the show this week, but it should already be obvious who I am talking about...click here & here to find out.

Although I wish there was a way to keep either one of these 2 contestants in for another round, the results are what they are. Celfious & Lord_Woock not only received the same amount of votes this week & last, but they also received the exact same amount of votes throughout the entire show so far! Furthermore, they had the least amount of votes out of the remaining 9 contestants. I can hardly believe that in a contest featuring such a wide variety of talents and such a large pool of voters, something as unlikely as this could happen...but it did! And so, it is with a heavy heart that I must bid both of them goodbye.

On behalf of those who voted for you and everyone else involved in HC's Got Talent, I say thank you! You might have showcased different talents (Celfious had us asking ourselves new questions & considering refreshing philosophies, while Lord_Woock showed us his remarkable abilities with origami, pixelart, and game-design), but you both had one thing in common...quality entertainment! I hope that despite being eliminated as contestants this week, you will both decide to stick around as voters until the Finale.

*On that note, I declare that the next round is officialy open!

*The remaining 7 contestants now have until Friday night @ 23:59 EST to showcase their talents in a single Post, in this Thread. Remember, they can either keep going with the same talent or change to a new one at any time.
Just when you think that things are going to stay the same because the votes from one round to the next are similar, WHAM...everything changes! I guess that these kind of twists & turns are becoming a weekly event here at HC's Got Talent. So, you had all better tune in throughout the week & cast your votes on the weekend, because YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN NEXT.

That being said, I'd like to thank the 7 contestants left in the competition (including myself), for their great 5th round performances, and the voters, for keeping everyone guessing week in - week out. Good luck to my fellow contestants with their upcoming performances and have a good week everyone!

The crowd of monotony bustled and pulsated like a leech on a bed of salt, with every face trying to get to another place identical to the present. More vagrants, crime, misery, only time acting as a difference. But it didn’t affect Luke. He couldn’t see them. Only the goal was set ahead of him, his target, so full of love and happiness that it would pierce through the gloom and shadows of the station, a light flooding the darkness of night. That was what filled his eyes, not the beggars, or the dealers, but a mother holding her child for the last time.

Her mouth moved so slightly as the words would flow out with the endless rain of tears as they parted ways, but it was nothing compared to the storm overhead. Luke saw the sun shining, and the son went his separate way. Now was the time, Luke struggled to think as the noise built up in the pressure of his mind, and with a sharp breath he took one reluctant step towards the fray.

The son turned a corner toward the exit of the station. The predator followed, stalking, but not too close. A flash of light. Luke was around the corner. The boy went into a small niche in a less crowded area, dark, and secluded.
“Play in the shadows.” Luke said. He smiled.

The kid had gone to a bank outlet to retrieve some money; Luke could hear the recorded voice playing from the transfer machine. Luke stopped and listened; the boy had stopped, turned and his footsteps were becoming louder, each one echoed and amplified in his mind a thousand times until all he could hear was the soft collision of the leather against concrete. Luke pinned himself up against the wall of the corner, and waited until the footsteps were right behind him, he could feel himself getting hotter as the prey came closer, beads of sweat forming, growing and falling from his forehead, a life cycle in itself.

The boy was in front him sooner than expected, after what seemed an eternity. Luke drew out a knife. A smile crept across his face. The startled boy stopped and looked at the knife, at Luke, and back down at the knife, in shock. Before he could scream, Luke grabbed him and sunk the knife into his soft belly. The blade pierced the skin easily, and his white shirt was soon soaked a dark crimson.
He plunged the knife in further, and saw the mother holding her son’s face, her tears, her happiness, just as this boy’s tears, this one’s misery. A stifled cry arose, struggled to escape from the prison of his throat. He pulled the knife out, and the boy coughed up a mouthful of blood, which floated to the ground like a feather from a shot raven, and shattered into a thousand pieces upon impact. Luke closed his eyes. It all happened too soon, he couldn’t keep up. He cleaned the knife on his collar and pushed the body in the corner, behind the money withdrawal machine.

Luke stepped back out into the concrete meadows, with a new outlook. He did not remember the excruciating face of the son as he screamed, not remembering how his limp body fell, there was nothing he could think of except the mother. The mother was the target. He would get his pay. He had to get on that train.

Luke turned and went to the information desk, put in a coin and pressed Passenger.
The machine spoke to him in a calm female voice.
“Name of Passenger, please.”
“Samantha Daniels.” Luke stated clearly.
“One moment please.” The machine clicked five times, and the same woman spoke again.
“Samantha Daniels.
Train CB04.
Destination Spaceport E.
Departing, 20th 1st. Thank you!”
A small, compact, metallic ticket dropped nonchalantly into the tray as Luke deposited a coin. It was hard, solid, Luke felt comfort in holding it… he knew not why. He will be needing it. The machine shut down, waiting for the next customer. Everything shuts down, in time.

Luke checked the time. It was 19th 1st.
Frantically, he looked around for a sign, any sign to help him. The station was swirling with urgency, and too many people were in his way, he couldn’t stand it.
He took hold of the wall for support, and the electronic signal above had an arrow pointing forward and then to the left, reading CB00-CB20.
“That is where you need to go.” A voice said.
“That is where you need to go.” Luke dismissed the hallucination, but heeded its words.
He sprinted down the stairs, down towards where the trains would depart.

Down the steps, one by one, Luke made it down to the CB04 platform in time to see its doors close and squeeze shut in irony, and begin to leave, as the train hovered over the magnetic tracks. She could not get away, not today. Today was different.

Luke pulled out a gun and shot down the nearest civilian in one fluid motion, and instantly concealed it once more. The man fell to the ground with a cry of agony, his blood splattered upon the wall. Luke saw his face, and time stopped as he wondered as to the story behind such a man. He would have to find out another day. As time resumed, Luke stepped up into a sprint towards the train tracks. People started screaming. A crowd swarmed around the dead body, like flies, like vultures. Voices built up again, but Luke shut them out. A perfect distraction.

He pulled out his steel ticket. It gleamed in the glow of the fluorescent globe, there was something angelic about an item so simple. With that, Luke cast it away on to the train tracks, watching it glide so easily through the air. Metal contact on the track assumes immediate danger, and the train screeched to a halt, like a creature on its own. Once more Luke felt like the hunter who has caught his prey. But it was not over yet.

Without the slightest hint of hesitation, Luke jumped down into the shallow chasm of the train tracks, and his knees jammed as he landed back on the earth. His legs started running, with invisible faces staring, watching, his heart filling with guilt. He saw the boy, the mother, Samantha, holding each other, the love he could never have. He caught up to the train, and jumped on the back.
“Another man there was, made the trains run on time.” He smiled, put his fist through the fixed glass window, and climbed on into the empty back carriage.

The train was still stationary. Luke counted down from five.
“Three… two… one.” The P.A. spoke up. “Like clockwork.”

The voice sounded familiar to the machine that gave him his ticket. Most voices do. But his ticket was lost now.
“Passengers of the Hover Train headed to Spaceport E. We apologize about the delay; the train had to be stopped for safety reasons. Workmen have inspected the area and identified the problem, and the threat is not serious in any form. The train should be up and running soon and refreshments will be offered from the carts. Thank you!”

It was time to go in.
Luke looked out the window, and a faint humming sound arose from below. The difference was, this time it was real. The train was moving again; the walls out of the window soon became a quiet blur. The sun was shining indoors. He could feel its heat on his skin, prickling. The urgency was over, but the threat was not. There were voices.
“The mother says goodnight.” Some one said.
“It’s time to say goodnight… it’s time to play in the shadows.”
Luke grasped his head with both hands, and ground his teeth hard. With a screeching noise the voice died down.
He took a step forward, and opened the door to the next carriage.

It was empty, save one. The prey, all alone… It’s strange, he had half expected her to be hiding again.
He went to walk in, but found he was weak and feeling anxious, his hands began to sweat and shake, vibrating in time with his spine. He fell down into the seat, breathing heavily. He flicked out his blade and cut open the stitching in his sleeve, and took out the small packet of powder. Shaking, he poured a small amount onto his hand, but before he could get his fix the young woman up the front, interrupted him. He dropped the sachet on the floor, spilling open and spread over the carpet, quietly, like a lie whispered to the enemy.
“I’m sorry, I thought I booked this carriage to be empty. Are you sure you’re seated here?” Samantha asked, smiling. She sat down two seats away from him. Her teeth shone, angelic to match her voice, and to the steel ticket she was holding out.
“The mother says goodnight.” Luke said. He smiled. He went back.
“I’m sorry, I thought I booked this carriage to be empty. Are you sure you’re seated here?” Samantha asked, for the first time. She blinked twice, and smiled.
“I seem to have lost my ticket.” Luke said.
“Oh, well, I’m sure it’s fine.” She said, and turned back to her magazine.

It’s a curious thing, sitting with someone who you know will soon be lifeless. Peaceful in her ignorance, instead of crying she read. It will be of no use to her.

Soon enough there was another rush of air as the automatic door opened again, and a young woman in uniform pushed the tray of drinks down the aisle.

“Would you like a coffee, ma’am?” She asked the lady sitting in the seat behind him.
“It’s been a rough day, I’ll take one.” Samantha answered.
Luke remembered the money in his pocket, and reached out with his coin.
“You’re going to die.” He smiled at Samantha.
“It’s been a rough day, I’ll take one.” Samantha answered, as Luke stepped back once more.
“Make that two.” He smiled at Samantha, and paid for the drinks. The perfect murder weapon.

The lady poured the drinks, and Luke took two tablets in his hand. So small and plain, yet so deadly, like a poisoned apple, Luke let the tablets drop into a coffee as she handed them over. As time stopped they were poised in mid-air, and then dived into the drinks to dissolve violently. Tasteless, painless, and very quick.
“Don’t explain.” He said to Samantha, and handed over her demise. He smiled, and the sun shone once more.

The man said that he wanted chaos... Luke kept this in mind. Surely the mortuary would find out. A heart failure of the controversial First Lady in perfect conjunction to the death of her son, some suspicions would have to arise. The traces of the tablet would be relatively easy to find, for someone who’s looking. Was it over? Could he rest?

“The mother says goodnight.” Samantha said. Luke looked up. It was not Samantha’s voice. In a blur, she reached out a hand, and grabbed him decisively by the arm.
“It’s time to say goodnight, Luke.” Samantha said, no, he nurse said. The train dissipated into his hospital room.

Luke stuttered in disbelief.
“I seem to have lost my ticket.” He protested, and smiled at the nurse holding him.
“I know you have. It’s ok Luke. You’re inside now. Don’t make me get the doctor again, like last night.”
“Is she dead?” Luke pleaded. He wasn’t wearing the same clothes, he had no knife, no weapons, there were no meadows, and everything he knew had gone. The sun was merely painted on his wall.
He was wearing a white jacket, which bound his arms, and tubes attached to his wrists were keeping him alive. The nurses voice… it was the same as the P.A., the same as the ticket machine, the same as the lady on the train, all the voices in his head, they were gone.
The nurse sighed, and turned the lights off.
“Mrs. Daniels died sixteen years ago, Luke. You’ve been here ever since. You can’t relive it.”
She turned, and walked out of Luke’ room once more.
The shadows enveloped him. He smiled.
“Next time.”

Okay, I know I'm officially out, but I want to post my goodbye with this game.

I shall leave by showing more or less what I've started with.

What this picture shows is what I have given my ex-girlfriend for her birthday this year. Sixty two tokens of my effort and dedication over the 18 months we've been together.

You've voted me out, but that doesn't mean you don't get to know me a little better.

And how can I say my goodbyes without wishing the other contestants the best of luck? Yeah, even you, Willy

Ok this is a new concept for a movie similar to the matrix. I wrote it so if you take it elsewhere please tell them I'm poor.

Our life lines, similar to DNA (very long strands which make up wha our bodies are), are captured in segments of a material (green, semi solid) which is a vast ocean of human existance. In each squarefoot portion or so, about 10% of our life lines are captured and an illusionary world seperated by coldness is before the eyes of lifelines within.

There is a power greater than we know, but we have our theories about this: This green semisolid draws on intelligence beyond our grasp which creates a universe.

This is a story about what happens when someone finds this out and tries to find the rest of their lifeline in the outer reaches (new universes)

There is a group of sentient beings which are human sized compared to our thin lifelines and vast green realm of existance. They remove contents of the material, turning them into a red form of torture and death. This world, and this story is about you, a blend of life lines reachnig 985%. The fighting on "earth 2" counts because once we reach total control and influence over our realm, we can have power over it aswell. When we are in control we will always from here fourth beable to turn into a mist while keeping lifelines intact. (We would fly anywhere in this place of red and green existances.)

For this week I have adapted a previous piece of mine which is actually a sermon! This is why I have actually recorded the bit, made it an mp3 and uploaded it for you to listen to it.

Aliens Among Us

Have in mind the sound is low and you need to PUMP UP THE VOLUME! It is also available for d/l, just find the option right under the player.

For those of you who cannot enjoy the mp3 because it's 8 megs, you can download a tiny 4 kb txt file here.

Vote for me because next time I'll have something even more interesting for you!

P.S. I do understand I have an accent. However, I hope it's not going to be a problem for most of you. Umm... I did bump it once or twice too.... please turn a blind eye on it. :-P

My entry for this 6th Round of the HC Talent Contest is a couple of songs that I believe are really well suited to my voice. The 1st one is called "Save Tonight", by Eagle Eye Cherry, and the second one is called "Smooth Criminal", by Michael Jackson.

I turned up the background music again so hopefully I didn't make it so loud that you can't hear me. Anyways, enjoy these songs and then vote for me!

{The 1st WAV file is a 5.7 MB and then 2nd is only 4.3 MB, so hopefully it won't take you too long to load them up and listen.}

Save Tonight

Smooth Criminal

Remember to VOTE FOR ME!

Ok that's it for the sixth round. Now that we are at the halfway mark of the competition, it seems that everyone left showed up guns blazing! Not to mention that our 2 previoulsy eliminated contestants, Lord_Woock & Celfious, decided to grace us with their "swan songs" before bowing out. Thanks for going out in style, gentlmen!

Anyways, the deadline for contestants to Post their talents passed not long ago, so they will NOT BE ABLE TO EDIT FROM THIS POINT ON...to keep things fair & even on the weekend. Speaking of which, it will be interesting to see how the voting goes over the next couple of days and eventually, who gets eliminated this round.

Hello everyone and welcome to the seventh round of HC's Got Talent!

If you thought that last week's MAJOR SURPRISE was something, just wait till I reveal the most SHOCKING RESULTS this contest has seen yet! To find out what I am talking about, just keep on reading through this Post.

The round that just went by was totally about taking the "HC's Got Talent Handbook" and throwing it out the window. Not only did some contestants try their hand at new talents or went back to previously showcased ones or even doubled the amount of their performances, but we also saw Celfious & Lord_Woock contribute to their legagies before departing. And to top it all off, the viewers who voted decided to turn this whole game upside down. What do I mean by that? Well, let's find out...

The 48 hour window for HC members to vote for their favourite performers officialy closed many hours ago, but I figured that there would be no harm in prolonging the suspense. (Seriously, it's because I am still sick and I had to get up early with my daughter; then went to a few Dr's appointments...yada...yada...yada) Anyways, now that everyone is impatiently waiting to see what are those SHOCKING RESULTS that I mentionned earlier, let's not waste anymore time with excuses and get to the task at hand!
*Like always, I will start things off by naming the contestants who received the most votes from their fellow HC members. And as promised, this is where you will get your fist dose of "shock treatment". So, please join me in congratulating our Top 2 Vote-receiving Contestants:
Lady_Milena (for the 4th week in a row & 5th time so far), & myself (for the 2rd time)!

Both of us had excellent recordings and added something new to our performances. I would suggest that we pat ourselves on the back, but it seems that the voters are doing it for us!

*Now that both of us have secured our place in the competition for another round, I think that it's about time that I reveal which other contestants will be joining us in round #7. So, the second thing that this week's SHOCKING RESULTS have to show us is that the list of contestants at risk of elimination includes some names that you might never have expected...I know I didn't. Why is that? Well, the first person has frequently found themself at the top of this contest, while the other has never been "at risk of elimination". Who am I talking about? None other than:
-Iris
-William

So now, I hope that you all understand why the results from last weekend's voting are so shocking. Although both of them have been consistantly putting on great performances, we now find ourselves in a position of saying goodbye to one of our top-notch musical competitors.

*With that said, it is with a tear in my eye that I reveal the identity of the contestant who will be leaving the show this week. Click here to find out.

Although I would gladly give up my own spot to allow this contestant to continue on in the competition, it is not up to me to decide such things...it's up to YOU (the viewers)! And it was based on your votes that the decision to eliminate Iris was made. You see, despite receiving the same amount of votes this week as William, Iris has not gotten as many as him in total. And so, it is for this reason that I must bid Iris goodbye.

On behalf of everyone involved in HC's Got Talent, I want to say that it was an absolute pleasure being "serenated" by your lovely piano playing. I hope that you'll be able to recover from the shock of being eliminated as a contestant this week and that you will decide to remain involved in the contest as a voter. We'd love to have you around!

*On that note, I declare that the next round is officialy open!

*The remaining 6 contestants now have until Friday night @ 23:59 EST to showcase their talents in a single Post, in this Thread. Remember, they can either keep going with the same talent or change to a new one at any time.
I thought that after Lord_Woock and Celfious were eliminated 2 weeks ago, we had seen it all...or at least the end of the crazy surprises...but, it seems that HC's Got Talent is just full of the unexpected. So, if you want to know what will happen this round, you had all better tune in throughout the week & cast your votes on the weekend.

That being said, I'd like to say thank you to the contestants left in the competition, for their great 6th round performances, and to the voters, for making things intersesting once again. Good luck to my fellow contestants with their upcoming performances and have a good week everyone!

To see what I have prepared for this week, check this out.

Have in mind that all I'm equipped with is a digital camera. It takes great pictures but totally messes up the sound. It's not a train or a plane passing by. It may look like I have missed a good number of beats but after filming it 5-6 times I just got tired of comparing bad to worse.

Ready? There you go!

On a side note, have in mind that this took me several months to learn. It's extremely difficult! Note the tiny vibration (known as shimmy). Make a little experiement and try for yourselves. It's easy... only as long as you're watching. ;-)

If you're experiencing technical difficulties, you can watch it here. Have in mind the image is stretched because of the rotation.... no. I didn't put 30 lbs on meanwhile.

I have 2 diferent things to present as my entry for this 7th Round of HC's Got Talent. The first is a piano compilation that I put together as a tribute to Iris, since finding out that she was eliminated. It's very basic, and nothing near the amazing performances that she shared with us; but I never played the piano until I decided to take a whack at it this week. Not to mention that I didn't even have a book or notes to guide me...I simply figured things out "by ear".

The second part of my showcase is a song that I recorded to celebrate the fact that I was a Top vote getter last round. This was a really tough one to sing because there is a variety of pitchs and tones to go through repeatedly. Regardless, I think it turned out well and that it suits my voice. Well, I hope you enjoy these songs and then vote for me!

{The 1st WAV file is a tiny 2.2 MB and then 2nd is a gawd-awful 7 MB, so hopefully it won't take you too long to load them up and listen.}

Piano Solo

Celebrate good times, come on!

Remember to VOTE FOR ME!

I needed a break from Val's book this week, so here are some pics from my home

BTW I didn't get to finish all the people that I had on my list

top Val
upper layer: left to right Bjorn, Pecu, Vlaad, T_A, Pandora, Boris - Lady_Milena is behind.
lower layer Leo, Shadowcaster, TnT, Russ {I had to get his ass there somehow}, Fog, Iris, MightyMage, and RSF behind.

OK Here is what I meant when I said you were melting - can you see the beads of sweat on Shadow's face {and TnT's nose sliding off!}
