If you back a couple posts my e-mail is listed...
I will give it to you tho... Jinxer@adelphia.net
And I an NOT gonna go searching and downloading maps to add to the TOH page... thats why I posted earlier in this post that if any maps that need updated or new maps submitted NEEDS to be e-mailed to me.
The whole point of me taking over maps page was to make sure that all the maps were once again in one spot and easier to find and download... The maps shouldnt be posted in link for on the message board. Unless you are linking to the maps page.
So again... ONLY maps that are e-mailed to me get updated and posted.
I will keep my eye out for it.

Hm, I was quite sure that some facts about the map were mentioned. However, they are gone now.
Although it might be a good map, I don't think it's suited for tournament play. A map, where bero has stats of 18 12 13 21 on day 2, seems a bit unbalanced. Though I may be wrong, tested only one faction.
But since towns and heroes are not random (haven gets a pathfinder hero), I doubt that it will be played at ToH.

New long over due update of BattleZone-v2.8 !!!
http://www.toheroes.com/h5maps.html
- Brought Back Deleb and Jhora
- Staff of Netherworld and Amulet of Necromancy re-enabled so combo is possible.
- Removed Some Major Artifacts and Couple Arifact Merchants -- will add some more strategy -- since before ALL artifacts always were available. ..Thanks to Teacher for this suggestion some time ago.
- Removed Titan/Whirlpool access to opponent.. since it was NEVER used.

well, I posted the maps on this forum...
about the permission... well... frankly, if they don't care enough to update their maps... I don't know...
In their current state you cannot play stronghold on them, not to mention the fact that no new features (like the memory mentor and such) can be used...

Guyz... one suggestion to all map makers out there.
Please stop putting so much eye candy in your maps. It makes them unplayable. and I have a pretty strong PC (Q6600, 9600GT)
So I'd rather play a normal map at a good framerate than bust my eyes staring at the fragmentation I'm getting on these overcharged maps.
Right now I was referring to the Art of war map which I tried last night

What are you talking about? Art of War runs perfect (well not 100% smooth, but the same as other maps) on my comp, and I have only a crappy GeForce 6200
Some of you guys with so high specs always have more problems than even a crappy system like mine... You really either don't update drivers or don't organize background applications when playing... Too bad you waste such a high-end system
EDIT: btw, I also have the game's options set to "High", eye-candies enabled, and Resolution 1280x1024, so don't think that I play on the lowest settings

Seriously I find some maps unplayable yet, at least before I get 2GB RAM and so. It lets me to have fun with most of standard maps, but size over XL or overhaul of graphical details really slows down the framerate. I have pretty good machine, not any obsolete crap. Still, it looks like I'll have to wait to fully enjoy H5 potential with biggest, most detailed and complex maps.

I have only 1 GB RAM, 128 Video RAM GeForce 6200, 2.4 Ghz Processor... I wouldn't call it "great"
Game Graphics set to "high", eye-candies enabled and Resolution at 1280x1024.
And still, I can play H5 and maps like "Art of War". The TotE main menu is annoyingly slow, but when I play a map the game runs well... (not perfect ofc )
As I said, I don't think it's the machine, but some of you don't handle the background applications/drivers well...
btw, Vista sucks, that may be a problem as well (I have XP)
