They travel in groups because they can. And if they don't, they will look like a loner. Just like they can't go out to a party or something and turn up by themselves, they can't be seen walking alone unless they have a valid reason if someone asks, or if they're emo
About talking to them when they're in groups you'll just have to either join in if you know them well enough, or wait for your chance. It's tough

The best thing in a school or a community like that is actually to let it be known that you're interested in the girl, and then try and seem as attractive to her as possible. She will hear about it, and even if she doesn't like you straight away, she will think about you as a possible boyfriend. She'll be looking at you and examining you, so that way you don't even have to talk to her in her group, you can be talking to someone else within her earshot or something.
Eventually, if she likes you, she will find time to talk to you alone, and her friends will leave you two lovers together
Doesn't work if she hates you to begin with though... then you've got some work to do

Ok, now let's do the explaining part. We know what works on women, but why? Maybe by examining how all the things work on women we can maximize their effectiveness? Maybe by discovering the sources of behavior (eg behavioralism) we can become even cooler, sexier, smarter, BETTER?
We already know, that this cruel "ok, bye" technique (where instead of "I'll call you tommorow, bye, have fun, bye, cya," and so on..., you just say "ok, bye") lowers the woman's self-confidence and causes her to "try and do better", which basically means that sayin fewer words makes women think they've done something wrong. Those poor creatures (yeah, I won't think I will ever do the "ok, bye" technique, because I will feel guilty for the rest of my life) start thinking that they might have said something bad, or that they are not attractive any more. To compensate for that, they try to look better, speak better, kiss better, and so on. So you basically get 2 times your girlfriend for the cost of her psychic health.
Ok, now I have found some compliments in "Men's Health" (don't keep asking me why I read them. I just try to build up my body and my ego ).
Only 50% of women like the compliment "You are cool"
But...
90% of women like the compliment: "I found that thing you said cool"
90% of women like the compliment: "I like talking to you"
Well...
Only 25% of women like the compliment "How come a girl like you doesn't have a boyfriend?"
AND
Only 15% of women like the compliment "Did anyone tell you that you look like an actress?"
Though...
About 100% of women like when men complimen their sense of humour.
90% of women like the compliment "You are special"
BUT...
About 0% of women like the compliment: "You are immune to alcohol"
And
Only 50% of women like men to compliment their confection or jewelery
Though
75% of women like the compliment: "Everyone is looking at you"
Ok, we know how efective they are. But why is it that some are effective while others aren't ?
A few of the trends I managed to discover:
Don't comment on her clothing or jewelery - women know what they buy and know (at least they think they know) how good the clothing is. So don't bother commenting on that. Also, don't comment on her beauty - you wouldn't date her otherwise, right? It is quite irritating, especially if you know that the other person finds you beautiful. And don't ask questions like "why don't you..." or "how come". It is a negative question, implying that the other person misses something.
Any other trends, explanations?
Yeah and some of my questions:
1. How come being cocky works? I still don't understand that...

The compliment "Everyone is looking at you" is terrible.
Don't use it. It makes her think, "well if everyones interested in me, why the hell am I talking to YOU?!" lol.
it's true, it is evil, but you need to make yourself seem like the best possible choice.
as I said, think of it this way. An attractive woman get's all the attention she could ever want. Every guy in the world spends their time in her company sucking up to her, with compliments, trying to get her attention, she's bored of it, she associates it with being pathetic. You need to do the opposite of these things, and you'll be different, she'll think of you, she'll be shocked, not know what to do, but she'll want to get to know you better because you're more INTERESTING.
being cocky is the same thing. you get the 'you did not just say that!' response, which is good. being spontaneous.
i dno, I guess it shows confidence, and it still does the basic purpose of showing off.

I'm glad you posted this. Here is my advice:
Being of the feminine gender, this is what I feel that you should do to understand women.
In essence, I believe we are very similar, beyond physical traits. Sure, women typically, not always, prefer writing to playing rough and tumble sports. You claim you want to understand them, but in my opinion, what is there to understand? Understanding women is no different than understanding men. I simply advise you to be yourself around those of any gender, and do not let the stereotypes of today's world run the way you think, feel, and act. Project confidence and treat women and men *equally*.
You can make this analogy to the past: People used to believe that Africans were made by G-d to be slaves. They believed that they were doing a kind thing when beating and whipping them. But today we know this practice was wrong. We know that Africans and Caucasians are both equally human. This is what we need to do with men and women. By overcoming the gender separation, we can work together in ease and none of these stereotypes and awkward feelings would occur as frequently.

Are you suggesting that men and women are basically the same? Because that generally isn't true- either by nature or nuture, they aren't the same, and you might not have much luck if you assume that.
This is especially true with "hot" chicks. Women aren't natually hot. They may be pretty, but not hot. To be hot, they must conform to a certain way of dressing and acting that causes us to qualify them as hot chicks.

I am not trying to suggest that they are completely the same, but I feel that people should be treated equally. Of course, there are exceptions, as with anything.
You have to understand an indivdual's personality in order to understand them as a person. You can't say, "Women like men with muscles" and then think that every woman feels that way.

Women are definitely not like men.
I'd advise you to read the book "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". I read it and that helped me in understanding the way women think. They are so different from men...
Really man, if they were the same, everything would be much simpler...

The strategy of treating women badly is in fact next to garuanteed to get you a girlfriend. However, this is also next to garaunteed to get you a girlfriend with a long list of psychological issues. Consider that she is willingly entering into an unhealthy relationship. Do you really want to be spending time with someone who behaves that way? It suggests a history of abuse from other male sources. Humans seek out that which they have already experienced. Women who have been in an abusive relationship are much more likely to get into another one. It is very true that if you make yourself into the kind of person who is likely to go to jail, you will attract women who have spent time with men who are in jail now. This method of getting girlfriends is not only unhealthy for her, but also for you, as you will constantly be forced to behave in ways that are disfuncional. Not only that, but is increases magnitude of women who are attracted to disfuncional men. Do yourself and society a favor and don't take the easy way out. Keep dating as long as it takes until you find a girl who is right for you. Don't fall prey to the longstanding disfuncionality that turns good people into complete jerks.
