MM6-7-8 Guide to extract

The fool-proof guide for rendering MM 6-7-8 frames:

Intro:

I've tried this for muiltiple reasons, but this is how I thought it was supposed to be done.

I hope this doesn't violate any of the COC. If not, can it please be a sticky?

First we need to DL st0rmcats mm7 view on this link:

now once we install it we click on mm7view.exe:

Now go to files and choose the first option:

Go to mm7 folder,data,and choose SPRITES.LOD:

Here comes the tricky part:Since in this file there really alot frames for all objects as well as monsters
the first monster is the angel,you find it this way:

and save as the picture says.

If you look closly you will notice that there are for some reason 5 times reapts the same name with a differnce in number.

Q:Why is that?
A:Becouse the numbers represnt the angel of the frame,5 angels,there are 30-20 frames per angel im not ciertain.
Angel0 is this:

Angel1 is this:

Angel2 is this:

Angel3 is this:

And Angel4 is this:


Note:I angel2 is the angel that is used in homm3.

When i was toing for it first,not for perpese of extracting,but for modding,those i managed to create some paper dolls if you guys want replaces.

Wait, let me see if I understood this correct.

This enables everyone to basicly alter the sprites (and stats?) of the in game might and magic games (and take the graphics to another game as well?).

As an example, will I be able to say, choose a character as a Behemoth, an Angel, a Medusa, a Wyvern, a titan, or something similar with this?

Will I then also be able to alter in game mechanics, so the Medusa gets the stone/paralyse ability + immunity against all except physical damage?

Also alter hostility factors, and maybe even quests of the game!?

Would I be able to transfer the graphics to game, like doom for instance, creating a doom gladiator arena, where I've transfered sprites from might and magic to make my own monsters (with the stats that makes them seem like they're the true Heroes monsters) and have them battle stuff like Arachnatrons, Cyber Demons, Barons, Revenant, etc.?

Oh man a fight between a Titan and a Cyber Demon, or a Baron vs. a Behemoth would be awesome.

Also can I alter the height of the creatures, so they seem more in coherance with the heights I'd the impression of within the Heroes games? Simply making the Angels smaller, Behemoths bigger, stuff like that.
