Heroes can fight like crea.
I think, the heroes of Heroes 5 is must fight again, like in the Heroes 4.

Because it was a Horrible feature. It was impossible to ballance the Hero, so that he wan't either too powerfull or too weak. Most of the time, the Hero ended up dying right away, and you could do nothing to avoid it. And what's the point of bringing the Hero then?
Btw. this has been discussed in the Temple Of Ashan forum, in the thread called Features Come Back, and since there's no reason for double posting, the thread should be closed.

I must agree with almost everyone on this one, the only good thing about having heroes as creatures was that you could have more than 1 hero per army, but this backfired when the hero got experiance, so no
Please go on alternative heroes, it would be good to have some new views.

what are you all saying? I say: the heroes start form a drifent place, behind the creatures, so a full army will have got 7 creature stacks and 7 heroes. The heroes start with 200 hitpoints and 10-30 damage, the knight will tat with 1 attack, and 2 defense, 1 spellpower and 2 knowidle, demonlords are will start with 2 attack, 1 defend, 2 knowidle and 1 spellpower, warlocks with 1 attack, 1 defend, 3 spellpower, 2 knowidle, necromancers with 1 attack, 2 defend, 3 pellpower, 2 knowidle, wizads with 1 attack, 1 defend, 4 knowidle, 2 spellpower... and the wizards will be on a lizard, the warlocks with lizard, rangers on foot, knights on foot, demlords o foot, necromancers on lizard.

seven heroes? what is this, hero party? I'm sorry, but if one hero on the battle feild is bad, 7 is worse. It would be beyond overkill.

strange, i read exactly the opposite from geny's post.
it wouldnt be HOMM if heroes could fight. it would be aow or disciples or whatever, but it wouldnt be heroes. background stat-boosting spell-casting heroes is the trademark of HOMM. making heroes again creatures would make it exactly like some other tbs.
