Might and Magic 9
Today I found a dusty copy of MM9 in a CD store. I've heard that the game is disastrous yet as a true fan of HoMM/MM games I want to purchase it.
Do you guys recommend it? Is it at least a wee bit enjoyable or it's a complete waste of money?

I don't have it, but I have heard that it tells the story of the natives of Axeoth, about some big empire that was called Ursulania or something that was destroyed by a powerful mage centuries ago and it also seems to connect the stories from the orginal Heroes IV and the expansions.
If I where you, I would buy it. And download patch 1.02 to fix those well-known bugs.

I've played it, complete waste >.< they got rid of all the elemental spells.....gasp! the graphics are done badly too, it's too polygonic, so you get stuck in places where you shouldn't be, i.e. a round rock suddenly has corners! MM9 does give a fresh and new impression, even though i prefer the olders one ^_^. However, the music is still great! (which MM and HOMM game doesn't have good music?) another large difference is now your screen has turned FPS (you now have a pointer in the middle of your screen, you hit where the pointer is...don't like that part lol, force you to use the enter button a whole lot more)

too late, I already bought it. Tried to play it, but it's too confusing... I have no idea where to heal my wounded characters, where to find mana wells, or at least a temple... and the controls are weird

I have not heard much good about MM9. We're still hoping that UbiSoft will revive the series and make a good MM10 but I don't put my hopes too high.

It's crap.
Worst sequel to the best game ever.
Stick to MM8
