Wow, it's been a while since I have posted anything here. To tell you the truth, I haven't had the inspiration that I once had (which is the reason why I have only made songs quite recently). Here they are and if you listen to them, it would be appreciated if you could comment on what you liked/disliked, what could be improved further etc...

Well I'm not really a good music critique but I'll just say which I liked the most:
The first one was simply great, I love it, the peaceful atmosphere you managed to create is awesome.
The second one was even better (for me), the melody is great.
The last one was also good, but it's the worst from these 3. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad, but simply not as good as the others
That's just my opinion of course.

Hmm dunno how to being this but I'll explain the first song at the end.
Permanent Impact --> has good melody, and isn't extremely slow at building, but I think it needs to be a little shorter and less repetitive. Dunno it's probably because I'm used to soundtracks (which are rarely repetitive) but an opinion is an opinion. It is way better than "Virus in the System" though but you could manage to make it a bit less "techno" (it has few amounts) unless of course that is what you wanted (since I'm not really a fan of techno but you don't have to take my word for it of course).
Virus in the System --> personally, I don't like it much, but I have to say, it is NOT a poor song, it is WELL made, but it has a certain style which I don't like (it reminds me of "electronic" Jazz with a twist of some "electronic country" a bit (dunno how to explain)) and I am not very fond of that genre, but that is just me, remember. Obviously the song is not very bad, and in fact it's not as repetitive as the previous one, but it is simply not my taste. That doesn't mean it's bad of course (but just my bias towards soundtrack-like music  )
now...

yeah I think that's the word. Don't get me wrong, it is not perfect, it needs some tweaking, but it is by far one of the genres I like, it is soundtrack-ish and peaceful, and it's just... I dunno I just like it very much. I think you could make it a little less repetitive while still keeping that atmosphere. And then that choir with the melody, it's just well made 
IMO you don't need to listen to what I say since I am biased towards soundtracks so naturally I might find many of your songs "not to my taste" but Incoming Transmission just amazed me to some extent

Actually, I was trying to make it slightly techno but mostly try to make it sound similar to how some of the old DOS games used to sound like.

Well it's all a matter of taste really. I know that not everyone will like the songs that I create but I will always listen to what people have to say and try to improve the way I make music according to my own ideas and what other people have said.
It amazed you to some extent? Cool

Alternate Reality is my favorite from the list. The others are pretty much the same (I mean, in my likings), but I think I like Mindless Endeavours a little more than A New Day.
All three are pretty good songs though.

The songs in my first post are not available anymore and I don't plan on ever uploading them. I made them in 2006, and I am kinda ashamed at how crap I made music back then.
For those that have downloaded my newest songs, please tell me what you think.

Well, many of my better songs (according to people who listen to them) have been made when I have been depressed. Against All Odds was made when I was depressed, so was Intrepid Minds, Morning Mist, Imaginary Boundaries and so on. I'm depressed a lot of the time, and I just find I can make music better when I am depressed. It's weird.
