I think necropolis is cool but i have to admit that sylvans cooler so sylvan is the best looking town. and 1 more thing, has any of u zoomed in on the necroplis bats? Do it and u will get a suprise.

I voted for inferno because of the flames and design i could stare at it for hours
acadamy is nearly equal but the inferno music sounds better

the necropolis definitely, it looks more like a city than anything else, and it looks awesome with all those neon lights and spires
sylvan is so gay and hippie-ish. who the hell wants to live on Darnassus from WoW?
academy looks really amazing but no railings on a city in the sky!?!
haven is just a castle from england put in ashan
inferno looks pretty cool but it really is a cylinder put inside a ditch
in the dungeon, you can't get anywhere since everything is on stalactites and all
the stronghold is pretty cool actually, nothing bad about it really
the fortress is really weird, they stole the demon style of living except on the edges of the ditch not in the middle

they may stole it from wow they may stole it from anywhere who cares necros creeping design is also good, but it should be more creepy, sometimes that faction reminds me "scary movie" which isnīt scary.

for me personally, it's Stronghold. Why ? Because it is the only town that creates an incredibly life-like and understandable enviroment. IOW: you believe what you see and hear. As I said in the other thread, Stronghold is the town that is the best designed of all H5 towns (IMO). As for the towns listed in the poll, it's Sylvan, who creates a similar, but less potent atmosphere. Unlike Stronghold, I think Sylvan is a lot more Arcane and Mysterious and stands a lot further from you than Stronghold; you understand Stronghold more than Sylvan (or at least earlier).
Academy is a close third.
Haven is fourth, because of the extremely beautifull town and music design. Some units (like the Enforcer, the Vindicator and the Paladin) work extremely well with the theme and the game, while others (like the Battle Griffin) should have been kept in the closed box.
Then comes Necropolis. Although then town theme is scary and units like the Vampire and the Wraith have an effective design, I'll never love Necro. In fact, I allways hated the undead towns in the Heroes series (especially in H4). However I can't deny than I secretly like this town (I often play it), but really love it, like the 4 former ? No.
Then Inferno. Another town I always disliked, even more than Necropolis, due to its liable and weak units (H3-4 imps and H5 Demons). The music is above average as is the atmosphere. I must say than Inferno lacks something in design... I don't know what and I can't describe what... but still it doesn't leave me as impressed as the others
Fortress is seventh. Due to the crappy music, the unoriginal untis and the downright aggavating town view (I can't zoom in to the town, a feature than I really like) it earned the one-but-last place. It is a matter of taste I suppose...
As for the last place, I really dislike Dungeon. It's simply too emo; I prefered the H3 version. In addition, the unit design on some units is crappy (I just HATE the Minotaurs  ) and i gameplay, they don't last long enough. (especially Furies and Raiders). All units than are left are either very slow, low on dammage or rare and Expensive. bah, I really hate it. 
Again this is a matter of taste. Don't shoot me, like I didn't shhot you for your oppinion.

why does no one like Fortress? I think its realistic with the Dwarves living next to a lava flow that allows them infinite access to a supply of raw materials. They have the most racial line-up, and that's how I like towns, so its nice.
