Were you born after 1997?
The game was not very graphically great for the time, but it ran at a higher res that the screenshot shows. It doesn't run very well on modern machines though.

You sure about that? I played it a few months ago (haven't changed machines) and it ran perfectly. Great game.

I think the Deus Ex on PS2 was the sequel, Invisible War.
The original for PC was far superior, but the graphics were pretty old due to it being a year 2000 game.
Good for the time though, at least the blocky people moved their mouths when they spoke.
That's better than some pre-rendered videos in MM7.

no, I have the original deus ex on PS2. it was released in 2002. the maps are different, more segmented with more loading times. in another hand, from what I've seen on videos, the AI is better than on PC. also, the way the levels are built make that sometimes there are less ways around on PS2, so it makes the game harder. in particular, the liberty statue looks WAY easier on PC than on PS2. though toward the end of the game, PS2 and PC maps tend to be quite similar.

Please refrain from posting ancient and abstract games please. (personal request) There's plenty of well known games that have certain images that makes it hard to guess, I'd far prefer seeing familiar settings and trying to place them rather than having completely unknown games.

Not all pixel games are ancient, you know, although this one would probably qualify as one. This game was a legend among my friends and I, and the reason I posted the picture was that I wanted to know if anyone here remembers it. If you see a game that you don't know, it doesn't mean it's a completely unknown game. Also, if you read a couple previous pages of the thread you'll notice that most of the games posted here are pretty old (and abstract), and a lot of them I, myself, have not heard of, so I don't comment on those and let the other people guess.

I don't understand what you're so upset about?
Is it supposed to be so that one person posts an image at a time and when it's guessed another pic can be posted? I don't see any harm in having more than one image at a time to guess? If I offended you someway then I apologize and will remove my post.
