86wyp and his MMR

I read this for some minutes ago: http://heroescommunity.com/viewthread.php3?TID=20356

Now I am very confused. Is this a joke? I don't want to be rude, but how can he take experience from the chests and still afford titans with artifacts? Why does he not use Nathir as his main hero? Has someone played against him? IMHO a good Necropolis player with Kaspar, Vladimir or Lucretia(aka. Tamika) should win easily over his MMR even on a small map. And Dougal + 200 Marksmen = The battle is over before it begun.

So please tell me, is this a joke from a N00b or a well developed strategy from a experienced player?

I don't think you'll have time to make 200 Marksmen. Have you played Mystic's Vale? The distance between two players is around 3-4 days. How much marksmen are you able to train on weeks 2-3? I don't think you'll be able to make 200.
So yes, this strategy sucks except on maps like Mystic's Vale. It's too of a rush.

EDIT: if you played StarCraft, you know about the AI attacking you with a couple of zerglings EXTREMELY early sometimes. (you can't even train a Zealot before they come). I think this MMR it's something like that

But still, he should not be able too afford Titans and artifacts if he takes experience from chests and rush.

Yes, I played starcraft, that was extremely anoying. But I mostly played as Zergs myself.

Well, perhaps he is just a very good player which can do things an ordinary player cant. Dunno, never played against him. Some maps are rich enough to afford most of the things, however i feel a bit puzzled too that he affords all the creatures, level 5 guild AND mini-arties when playing on HEROIC difficulty. Either he is an awesome player, or he is joking.

Why doesnt he pick Nathir? Well, perhaps he thinks Nathir sucks. I think the same IMO there are better starting heroes than him (Havez) and his speciality is extremely poor in the endgame.

Well, chinese-japanese foks always seems to be extremely hard-working and intelligent, but to do that seems petty impossible. I am just a n00b who have played through the campaigns on Heroic and never played a single multiplayer game, but I still never have think about cheating and lie about me being an über-expert. So this guy seems to have petty bad morale (what did Mao Zedong say about lying?).

About Nathir: I would rather choose that Gremlin expert on large maps, butr nathir is very good at rushing and creeping. His fireball speciality is great in the earlygame.

He chooses Havez because he starts out with War Machines and he can't live without the First Aid Tent, not because of his speciality

Sorry man my old keyboard again, I mean he play vs himself, and there are many strange thing in the screen, read Towerlord's and mine quotes about that, and we doubt on his "tactics", so he just disappear.

Well, I dislike the tent when playing Necro
And the gremlins with attack boosted by Havez and ammo cart are acctualy not that bad for creeping, since you start with 100 or so. The tent prevents casualties, not creeps for you

Could be true. I believed that he play with cheats on easy difficulty. I also got that cheat scren (even if I only use it to see how much the AI cheats).

And look at his email: charlie_falcon@msn.com Does not sound very Chinese to me.

Not a joke, I have used MMR successfully several times and each and every one you gain power a lot faster than any opponent-even Dougal and Kaspar. The basic idea is build up to mage guild 5 in week 2/3 and use artifact merchants.You only build up to golems in the first weeks so it's easier to build capitol and even easier to build colossi in week 3.Arties are not a problem as you'll use them in one or two units tops.Mages and library are built after mage guild 4/5.Alternatively I have seen that rakshasas instead of colossi work well too(if you have the resources)
Vlad or Lucretia stand little chance let me tell you.And there are few things that can go wrong with this way of playing as druid elders and master hunters pose no threat to academy even in week 2.Assuming you know how to use it and have understood its basic principles.Only a VERY bad selection of spells and NO resources mines can prevent you.

Edit:
I should mention that in his battles he has rules which prevent you from staying in castle and so the battle MUST take place outside.Also by the skills/abilities in the screenshots I question the skill of his opponents but I know it has been thoroughly tested with good players and for weeks.They take it quite seriously.
Except some things that seem exaggerated in his post I assure you it works and it is indeed a good strategy that can be a killer.

Well, Wasp Swarm on Expert Level reduces the ATB by 0.6, but Divine Guidance increases the ATB only by 0.33. Still don't think that you can neutralize them completely.

In heroic level, an Academy player would normally have a level 10 hero at the end of the first week

Ohh I know exactly how this is done:  @ChangeHeroStat("Sufi", STAT_EXPERIENCE, 60000);

Don't call me rude. I am convinced that this IS the thruth about 86wyps (easy single player) games. Elvin may have finded out a way to use that strategy in a real MP game.

Actually I haven't used it in MP but since I see that it can be used as competitively I believe it works against a good opponent. I don't believe it's good because I beat the AI(D'uh!) in hard but because I see the difference if I play without it. Haven't used it on heroic.
It was 86wyo that showed the way,I just made a few changes here and there to suit my style of play. Actually there isn't ONE way to play it as he has already said and each time things are different according to your spells and spell schools of your choice. I don't get more than two and I choose summoning/destructive to make the most out of motw.
Come to think of it I don't remember if 86wyp was the one who made it or if he just posted the results but I thank him nontheless.
One thing though: Academy is NOT that L33T man!

L33T = Lätt(easy)? Är du också Svensk(Swedish?).

Anyway, look at his statistics. Titans and artifacts and he still takes experience from chests. He MUST be cheating or playing with himself.
