I seldom get emptied of mana with the warlock in the campaign. Erratic mana and Arcane training helps Summoning magic in addition to Destructive? I can see the point of the Phoenix. But it doesn't help with a couple of meteor showers on the last scenario through those garrisons.
With Warlock I usually go for:
Attack
Logistics
Luck
Dest Magic
Sorcery
What would you take away for Summong and Enlightenment?

Ylaya unfortunatelly starts with Attack, so from other four I would drop hmmm Sorcery and maybe Luck.
Anyway, the 4 skills that I chose for her were and Logistics, Destructive, Summoning and Luck(this slot waited for Enlightment but it didn't show up, so it didn't gave me 40%-50% spellpower more and no 100% - 125% mana more).
I think it's a general rule to give a campaign hero Logistics, Enlightment, 2 Magic Schools. For example:
Freyda gets Log, Enlight, Dark and Light. Last garrison in her campaign probably can be beaten with 5 single battlediving Griffins buying Dark Magic some time to do its magic - Mass Slow, Mass Confusion, Frenzy, maybe even Puppet Master, Ressurect is useful here if things gets messy.
Of course, I didn't get Enlightment with her, so I ran out of mana and got killed. Stupid 2% chance for Enlightment.

it's only 2%? Lol! :X
Btw, guys, do you have some kind of chart where the percentage of chance to get skills is displayed? Is it in the manual, or?

I find two magic schools a bit much without sorcery. With knight I usuallu skip Light and rather go straight for Dark (and Fallen Knight). Dark has more tactical spells: Slow, Confusion, Frenzy, Blind and Puppet.

Yeah, 2% sucks. Warlocks should be more enlightened. But perhaps it is because of "Intelligence" they have made it so.

It's 2% for haven. Warlocks still have an 8% chance for enlightenment...

That's better. Although I normally don't go for thats kill. Knights could need better%. If the next expansion faction is the orcs, then 2% enlightenment would be more proper.

Perhaps they should get less XP in that case
I really hope they make a might-based orc-faction with strong emphasis on battles. I don't think the orcs will be good armageddon casters
