Hmm, if Ves is TOO Busy i can make some dicount of my nerve cells for him. I wish to have records vs him...

And took that kind of map, where no 3-4 battle per turn Can appear until you get enough strength.

Seems like Neighbours... Or Peninsula.

As for dominate races.... Ubisoft had a nice vision of making the towns sooo unique , each having there special advantage.... however the problem is the maps.  As you pointed out, some maps this race and that race are dominate other maps other races are. Which means that Ubisoft did not succeed 100% in there multiplayer attempts.  This game is great fun, and I do LOVE it. Has ALOT of great concepts and new features... but what it lacks is that ability of the towns to have there unique advantages and at the same time have that aura of balanced. I am not saying each towns level 7's need to have same hit points and same damage etc etc... But depending on the type and style of map.... certain town matchups dont stand a chance. If the game was correctly balanced, all town matchups would beable to atleast compete no matter what map...

And please no flames... I love the game and will continue playing it.  But after reading of how people are exploiting weaknesses in maps and races and how they matchup to that map is disappointing. Like taking Deleb and rushing a map week 3....when your opponent got a town that cant take the guards until week 5.  Think about that.  If Player A...can beat 60 Arch Devils week 3 and Player B cant.  How do you suppose Player B is gonna beable to offer any challange to Player A?  And I guess if people feel they need to find and play only the maps and heroes and use the exploits that allows them to get those fast rush wins, then we can start calling this game WarCraft. Start the game and 32 secs into game here comes swarms of creatures destroying town... Woohooo... that was fun.



Not like this is a new trend to be "alarmed" about in HV. This was also the case in HIII. There will always be certain map conditions that favour certain factions. People got very comfortable with using certain map/faction/hero combos in HIII too....thats just the way it goes. The great thing about HV is that there are so many new hero abilities and strengths/weaknesses to each faction that the strategic options are virtually unlimited and there is always a strategy or a "strategic combo" that can counter whatever someone thinks is the ultimate strategy for a particular map....and likewise can be countered by something else. Every faction has advantages that are extremely powerful (and weaknesses), you just have to be creative about how to maximize your advantages and minimize your disadvantages in any given scenario based on who your opponent is.

thats why I still "learning" to Play Heroes V  

so many options and combinations..... take time to learn....
especially against some "overpowered" enemies....

Indeed - however I did wonder a sec there since when Fiur had started to discuss things with himself, seems like there are more energy elementals around than I thought!

These clan games you can always play the players and the factions you want. I don`t wanna play against SQs monster-Sylvan on the bigger maps with more than one town myself (because I have very very limited gametime nowadays, and I have tried it too many times already)- but we will always manage to have a fun game anyway. A solution to this "overpowered" moaning ¤%£ is to play same towns with random heroes. There are many rouges out there, so that is often possible.

Anyway - Had a Necro vs Necro battle against KeopsII friday, and these battles really teaches you how to play the factions better, as you see what skills/strategies that gives you the edge under equal conditions.

Necro versus necro battles can be boring at times
Tts all about who shoots first and who misses on spectres more and battle will usually be long and fraustrating
2 things decide game imho

Well since I appear to be the rebel these days I have to chime in and say that what Plexis said ....how should I put this....was NOT well said.  It sounded like someome who plays single player and campaigns and also a player who has ZERO games of Multiplayer recorded offically. Being able to outsmart and counter the computer in a single player game is no great feat. And takes no skill at all. Playing multiplayer with real live players is something QUITE different.  There is not ALWAYS a counter for some of the avanatages and abilities of the towns. Infact there is less times then more that there is a counter.  And again is all boils down to maps vs. faction balance.  When you give Sylvan an advantage and abilities of Super Human Initiative and ability to inflict 3 times the normal damage. That equals a devistating first turn....game over before you get a chance to start formulating a master counter plan. Gotta have army left to put that counter plan in motion.

So until you actually get about 30+ multiplayer games vs. Actual skilled players and not the stupid computer and comapaigns, I wouldnt be boasting of how balanced and easy it is to counter ANY and EVERY faction ability.  

Please note, I am not trying to bash ANYONE here, just pointing a few things out.

actually you are wrong ... you are overestimating necro on battle for honor. Haven and Sylvan can kick necro easily!

Well some good posts here.  I just wanted to say "drats and double drats"  I like being evil necro boy in the scary black cloak.  I do see your points about Necro though, but usually my attaction to shiny objects takes away any troop building advantage that comes with Necromancer i.e. I always get myself in a fix and lose too much because I like baubles.  Keep up the good gaming guys--I know I have lots of fun playing you (well those whom I have played).
