Its a pity
Seems the HC has been overrun by idiots. Was good at one stage, but now we have all these stupid topics springing up under the ToH section, most of the good players who once posted here have gone the way of the dodo and the moderators seem to be inactive. Why dont you people take yor ridiculous topics to the tavern and altar of wishes, and leave this area to ToH players who know what they are talking about. Then the good players who used to post here may come back and talk about the game in relation to ToH, which is what should be here.

Yes any activity consists of resistance so rychenroller
you can see that threads appear and you can't do anything to stop people, except of adding new threads and taking space. So you become one of them and there is no difference between you and others. All of you are showing your emotions and thus relaxing somehow. I don't see any reason why others must stop doing so. And Shae_Trielle wisely explains it deeper. Tnx

You know, I remember the TOH board used to be the focus of the whole forum and not only did some serious discussions go on, but ToH felt like it had a community where you could see the deeper side of people away from Zone.
But I agree with Ryche. No use complaining about it though. What happened to all the ToH people? I barely see any of them here anymore. And what's left to talk about has already been said. And argued to death.
But there is no use complaining about it, why don't you do something about it Ryche? Put some real thought into a new thread that may spark some interest again?
Or better yet, go and revive an old thread that you once liked? I do that once in a while, it's great to see something old made new again.

Well...
I think we could say that "TOH people" have find better place to go because if you check now the first page here...not much TOH subjects.
But I think problem is that if more TOH people would come here and they would have something discuss there would be someone posting still something unrelated to TOH in here.
I think that messages should be in right places and it could make this place even easily browsable but it's just me talking and not the moderator and anything so maybe people like it this way.
BTW if you check Altar of Wisher there is post made by Valeriy that remindes people that Altar is for wishes not unrelated things that goto to Tavern. Maybe someone should have done something like that in here too.
I could of course start that thread about what people collect here...barbie dolls, cars and etc. Wouldn't that be nice?

You have missed the point of my post by about, oh, 2000 miles. I don't care what people post, just where they post it. If I want to read about diplomacy, I'll go to the strategy section. If I want to read about how old people are, I'll go to the tavern. If I want to read about someones creature bodyguards, well I wont coz thats dumb.If I want to read about ToH, I come here. But snow, that doesnt even happen anymore, coz its full of LAME topics.

So, my dear rychenroller, though your language could be more polite calling ToH people idiots (see your starting message you mentioned about 2000 miles), I must confess that you're also in need of discussing different topics, so you have desires that are similar to others, as you said:

So if other honorable persons (as I see them) want to write about their own topics, and no matter where, why can't you just respect their own choice and ignore threads you wont read? Because a variety always adds more taste to anything, and more topics mean more joy, more happiness.

Yes, cadavre, you're spot on with what you said. Variety is good. We all need different flavours. But chefs don't go mixing meatloaf with pasta and everything must have an order and have it's place. You don't just go throwing everything everywhere. You keep it neat and tidy. That's what moderators are for.

Dear Shae_Trielle!
You certainly know how to support cleanliness and the order and if someone is not able or does not want it? I think that it is art how to use such people for the blessing to a community. Anyhow everyone has his own weaknesses and it is weakness to publish any bosh. All of us sometimes suffer it however everyone become serious when they want it. All that is necessary for us consists in that we need to create for such people all conditions in which they will become serious. Then there will be no necessity to condemn their action.

I am with RychenRoller! Cadavre you kinda remind me of a small child who insists that he is gonna do what ever he can to through wrinkles into stuff and cause disruption. As Rychen said this is TOH board. There are several other sections to post that have catagories! I assume you only want to post on TOH board casue you know this is only place people prolly pay even a small amount of attention to some of these ridiculous posts.
I read your diplomacy post and I am not sure what your point was? We all know Diplo is good and how to use it. Or did you think you was teaching us a special way of using diplo effectively? The only part of your post that really should ahve been there was..the part where you asked the question " Is diplo gonna be in HMM4? " And then that post should be in the alter of wishes post. It has nothing to do with TOH! That is rychen's point.
But I do think the administrators should get more involved and start weeding out these posts. And I can already bet that you cadavre and many others will just double your efforts to post even crazyier posts and drag this post on farther than it already should have made it.

I doubt that it really matters whether or not the dubjects here are toh related, even heroes related, as long as the people who post them actually play the game. Heroes players will always bring up the game once every few sentences.
I find that it is more important that people make feeble attempts at communication, rather then stay silent...
While i know that i'll get some flak for this, i like being the advocate of lost causes.

anyways....
Most people are more busy playing now than posting. Thats what I see. When TOH at its slowest activity, this board was booming. Now TOH is at its biggest peak in activity, this board gets weak. Almost like the players cant play and post; only when they get bored with gaming do they come here.
Anyways.... most of the interesting topics are 'used up' and this board was strongly related to the additions and modifications of this new TOH season. Now there is nothing to discuss, the new season is here, and people are playing.
A month or so before heroes IV, this room will be busy again.
Also, I havent been to this board for a long while, mostly due to the fact that I am more busy with the new site.... the statistics speak for themselves... 3000 TOH games in 1 month, 1800 registrations. Though automated, there is more work, the more people we have. Everything is filtered by us.

I think what happened was people who used to post got tired of getting slammed by a select few all the time so they just stopped posting.
Anyone who takes the time to post only to have the same 3-4 anger based replies come back each time starts to reallize that arguing just isn't fun. And most of us come here for fun.
Still something has to pass these arduous periods between turns and porn is just too distracting so I think the message board will good get again.
But it will take a while.
I had several people tell me they were tired of "the same stupid replies" and to them I say they should develop thicker skin and/or just ignore post by people like that.

LOL that must mean that they're sick of being proven wrong!
Some people have to realize that this is a game that people love and feel very passionately about and ToH is a tournament in which a lot of people like to participate in. It's a discussion forum. *shrug* People like to get all hot under the collar and use exclaimation marks to get their point across, but we all know that the only thing they're hurting is their keyboard fingertips, lol!
If you can't take the heat then stay out of the kitchen. I'd think that with a lot of the arguments and silly chat that goes on in Zone (thanks to me, lmao!)that HC would be a welcome reprieve from such talk. I mean, I haven't seen K1LLA here yet... have you?
