For forge.... what about a robot like in Cubix called anime!

We are working on that too. As soon as those guys finish the mount project it will be implemented into the Burden of Faith.

It seems that lot of stuff happened here...
Lets see,Yanzhangcan you wanna help? Well,you can,I don't know,come up with names for artifacts or heroes or hero bio's...
btw portraits are in h3bitmap.dat or h3sprite.dat files.Look in there,you need ResEdit,DefView & DefMaker + lodedit.zip(it contains h3bitmap.exe and h3sprite.exe)
As for the 2 commanders per race,I think they'll put that in 3.59
For creature line-up,Baklava said it,we have it,look at page 8(its a master post and I'll update it regularly).And another thing: peasants are not part of regular army
As for new riders,Hell_Deamon is working on that(I'm helping him,at least i think I do )
For creature making I have one problem,please wait a few more days...
All who think their creature is good can post it here,for line-up look at page 8

Hehe, where can I find these tools? I reckon we have a ample amount of artifacts but maybe we could rename a few artifacts, or change the look or effects slightly. I might do a few heroes bios though

An undead thing, it looks like a dark green behemoth with a long tougue. The upgrade can be dark red with small horns. I will try and get a picture for one, keep tuned

 It could be something like this, hunched over (Like a behemoth ) And it needs a long tongue, also it is quite slow (5 spd) but the upgrade is extremely fast in comparison (11 spd)
If this idea is good I will make it myself

That's excellent, Ghoul can replace Walking Dead and have the same ability (Disease) Since walking dead is weak it should have disease ability as well as the upgrade.
A level 4 shooter... Hm, I can't think of much yet, but I am thinking that an undead magician (Not lich ) will have to replace it. That will have to mean the castle shooting sprites need to be changed... In fact it will disrupt a small portion of the game.
Hm...
This needs more thought, perhaps we could change the names instead.

I apologise for my (too) long absence.
Was a bit tied up...
Now, if my opinion is still wanted, as I came to understand the lich is going to be an attainable hero class, which leaves a hole in the Necropolises lineup.
As discussed earlier, it should be a lvl 4\5 ranged\caster creature depending on the vampires (in that case probably lvl 4).
That being the case I suggest inserting a sort of human cleric which upgrades to a half, or fully fledged, undead. (Eg. as a death knight by stereotype is on the line between life and death)
The names of which can be Acolyte - Narrsil\Necron\Mordei (practically any random combination of letters)
On the other hand I thought that ghouls where supposed to be lvl 2...
I haven't looked at the master post, but I thought that was discussed somewhere.... Never mind, as long as it's done.
Just a quick definition of the word cleric, as most automatically link it to human religion...

A cleric is a channeling magic user meaning that his power is invoked via a greater being, often a deity or a semi god.
Clerics need a source of power, as do all magic users, and find their in vast amounts trough ritual, worship and chant.
The "god" they sought to please does not need to be good nor evil. He just needs to be and except the clerics offering and\or plea.

Good job Dj, these portraits are really good. I would like to see more, now we just wait for Baklava or Asheron to approve.
Perhaps Asheron will use some of them...
P.S.
If you don't like the idea at least you got a short lecture on clerics. ^_^

I like DJ's portraits... Pretty cool.
How about - all undead heroes start with flesh, and then, when they become liches, their portraits change to undead ones? That could also be done to some other classes...
The necropolis mage unit could be Acolyte - Fellmonk or Black Monk or something like that...
@Yasmiel Yeah, I think Johnny is the second coolest person ever to have walked the Earth... The first one being Jesus, of course And the third one probably being Marilyn Manson...

I thought of way to help us:you can come up with stories for artifacts.I always hated the original ones,the best example would be Titan Sword: "A Titan stops you and says, ""Pay me 5,000 gold, or I shall slay you where you stand."" You refuse. The Titan grabs the sword hanging from its belt, but you duck between its legs. He is so surprised by this maneuver that he trips... falling on his sword and killing himself instantly. You relieve him of his belongings."

Can someone tell me where to find good pictures of minotaurs? Cuz' we need them for Dungeon. Oh,and Dj,please if you have any idea for creature post it here(master post is on page 8)
