TOWN DESCRIPTION
Town of the Vori Elves race. Like the common Elves, they built their town inside the forest as their Base in finding Wild Magical creatures. Many creature chambers and labs built by this race to enforce themselves. Also, they has a large arena where some Wild creatures especially Dragons they had caught, used for combat training.


RACE DESCRIPTION



The Vori Elves. They are half-human Elves. Like Dark Elves, they have absolute white skin. But, unlike the Dark Elves, they have full-black-colored eyes, human ears, and long red hair. Their skills are Human might skill combined with Elves magic skills. Thus, they’re stronger than Humans and Elves. But, they are very kind and friendly as they live peacefully with the nature around them. They never underestimate the Elves nor the Humans and very cooperative with them. They never beginning the war, but always ready for the war.
Vori Elves spent their time in finding Wild creatures to catch or kill. Caught creatures (like Dragons and Warthogs) used for training. They build a large arena where they could train themselves fighting against those caught creatures and riding them in adventuring. While the killed creatures used for Potion-Making. They collected parts of the killed creatures to make magical potions that can be drunk to increases their strength and magic-resistance. Sometimes they used the potions to make powerful weapons or Technological creatures. Those creatures used for helping the Slayers in finding and killing or catching Wild creatures. They’re also used for defending their town from the Evil hordes.


CREATURES AND THEIR DWELLINGS

Vori Tracker and Vori Hunter- Level 1
Vori Elves armed with arrows and bow. With hunter-dog as their partner, they’re skilled in hunting non-magical beasts. They don’t wear any armor as just facing animals. But their precision in ranged attack helps the Slayers defeat their enemies.

Shrunker and Executioner - Level 5
Hybrid creature created from combination between Vori Elves and Dragon Flies. The only spellcaster in this town. Armed with Halberd Blade, these high-speed flyers can easily find and catch or kill wild creatures. Good partner for the Slayers.

Runner Dragons ridden by Vori Elves. After training at the Dragon Arena, now they skilled in riding and slaying Dragons. Although they can’t fly, they have magical aura that makes Dragons went down to attack them. With their Dragon Slayer Blade and their skill, they blow the Dragons in the correct time.

Ability Description

Temptation : Makes the Dragons automatically attack this creature at their first attack. Doesn’t work on Bone and Ghost Dragons.
Aura of Vulnerability : Negates all Dragons’ Magic Resistance, except Bone and Ghost Dragons’.


HISTORY
Once, somewhere on the middle earth, there was a small town where human race living in peace. They lived by gathering food from the forest around the town. Thus, skilled in tracking and hunting. They also made potions from their preys which can keep them healthy. Some special potions have magical power that empowered their weapons. They had anything they needed for their life. How peaceful their life was.
One day, something happened. An evil undead hordes attacked their town. The humans with their skills, could defend their town at the beginning of the battle. But, the horrible necromancy power rescurrect more and more undead that join enemy troops. After about 4 days, the undead hordes began to dominate the war. The humans can’t stay there any longer and decided to evacuate. Although they didn’t know where they had to go.
After about 5 days escape, finally they found new town dwelled by Elven race. They asked the Elves to allow them stayed there without disturbing the Elves’ life. The good news, they accept them kindly. But, the bad news, the Elves said that the Wild Dragons had been attacking them since 6 months ago. They had evacuated two times before. But the Dragons always found them. So, they asked the Humans to help them fight against the Dragons whenever they will come. The Humans accepted it and they’re living together then.
With the Humans help, the Elves built their small town into perfect guarded town. They learned each other skills and trained everytime. So both of them now had both racial skills. Thus, when the dragons came, they fight with all their strength and win! A glorious victory! Some Dragons caught, some killed, and the others fled. They collect the parts of the killed Dragons’ body for making Potions. The caught Dragons used for training so that they have Dragon Slayer skill.
2 months later, the undead hordes found the town. They wanted to kill all living creatures and rescurrect them as their undead troops. But, the Human had already become much more powerful. With their new power and the help of the Elves, they could easily defeat those undeads. They fled with bitter defeat. Second victory for the Human-Elf race. They regain their peaceful life.
Now, the town dominated by Vori Elves. Only a few number of Humans and Elves can still be found. But the Vori Elves never think about race difference. Although they’re better than those two races, they regard them as they regard themselves.
The Vori Elves become skilled fighter. Some of them train themselves in Dragon-Slaying. Some other interested in undead hunting and become Ghostbusters or Vampire Slayers. Some more learning magical and technological skills to create some Hybrid and Cybernetic creatures.


RELATIONSHIP WITH OTHER RACES
Humans and Elves : They like them and always helps them especially in the battlefield. Best partner for them.
Dark Elves : The only races that they hate. Dark Elves usually avoid fighting with them as the Vori Elves much more stronger than Elves.
Demons : The Vori Elves fear of their fire power which can burn their forest. They prefer fighting against Demons in the Demons’ habitat.
Wizards : Golem-making are basic of Terminator-making.
Dwarves : Dwarves and Elves (including Vori) are rivals. They build each town with some magical beasts and want to show their rival that they’re better. But, they never fighting each other. They usually prove their strength by defeating the same enemy at different time or place.
Undeads : They use undeads, especially ghosts and vampires for their prey to make some potions that can make them get the ghosts and vampire abilities.


RACIAL SKILL AND ABILITIES
Potioning : Making potions from killed enemies’ essences. Then, the hero can choose specific potions for each creature level that can give (add, not replace) their special abilities to his/her creatures at same level.
For example :        
Level 1 : Master Gremlin
Level 2 : Horned Overseer
Level 3 : Spectre
Level 4 : Vampire Lord
Level 5 : Silver Unicorn
Level 6 : Paladin
Level 7 : Archangel
Every level 1 creature under the hero’s command has Master Gremlin abilities. Every level 2 has Horned Overseer abilities, Every level 7 has Archangel abilities, and etc.
But, like the Avenger skill, the hero needs to kill 2 x basic growth of the creature before he/she can make the potions. So, those creatures mentioned above must be killed before, at the number of 2 x their basic growth. The hero must kill 2 Archangels before making Archangel potion. Those potions can be selected at Potion Lab in Base town.
Note that Chain Shot, Death Cloud, Double Shot, No Melee and Range Penalty, and all ability associated with ranged attack can only be given to ranged attacker too. While some abilities related to hand-to -hand attack like Drain Life or Strikes Twice cannot work in ranged attack. Also, there are some special ability that can’t be given to any other creatures; Flyer, Spellcaster and Spellbook, Random Caster, Shooter, Large Creature, Demonic, Mechanical, Undead, Elemental,  No Enemy Retaliation, and Multi-Headed attack.

Potioning Skill
Basic : Unique Slayer’s skill that allows him/her to make potions from level 1-4 creatures. Before it, the Slayer must kill them at the number of 2 x their basic growth.
Advanced : Unique Slayer’s skill that allows him/her to make potions from level 1-5 creatures. Before it, the Slayer must kill them at the number of 2 x their basic growth.
Expert : Unique Slayer’s skill that allows him/her to make potions from level 1-6 creatures. Before it, the Slayer must kill them at the number of 2 x their basic growth.
Ultimate : Unique Slayer’s skill that allows him/her to make potions from all level creatures. Before it, the Slayer must kill them at the number of 2 x their basic growth.

Associated Abilities
Supremacy : Allied creatures have +5 Attack and Defense against creatures at the same level.
Potioned Weapon : All artifacts that increases Attack, Defense, Spell Power, and/or Knowledge, have +1 more points of each points that will be added to the skill.
Mana Transfer : Hero can transfer some of his or her mana to casters and can also absorb casters’ mana.
Medical Potion : At the end of each round, 1 selected stack of allied creatures can restore their full health and cleansed from all negative spells, effects, and poisons. Doesn’t work on Undead, Elemental, and Mechanical.

Hero class : Slayer (Attack 2, Defense 2, Spell Power 1, Knowledge 1)

Rufio (Basic Potioning, Basic Attack, Tactics) – Campaign Hero
Specialty Dragon Commander : All Dragon Riders and Dragon Slayers increases Attack and Defense by 5 and speed by 1.

Zelda (Basic Potioning, Basic Light Magic, Basic Enlightenment)
Specialty Light Energy : All Light Magic needs less 2 mana to cast.

Dorothy (Basic Potioning, Basic Defense, Vitality)
Specialty Warthog Trainer : Warthog Riders and Warthog Raiders in hero's army gain +1 to their attack and defense for every two levels of the hero, starting on first level.

Seth (Basic Potioning, Basic Dark Magic, Basic Sorcery)
Specialty Occultist : Ghost Catchers and Ghostbusters in hero's army gain +1 to their attack and defense for every two levels of the hero, starting on first level.

Fergus (Basic Potioning, Basic Enlightenment, Intelligence) – Campaign Hero
Specialty Electrical Chain : Ranged attack of Destroyers and Terminators has 10% chance to chain 4 other nearest unit for half damage. Doesn’t work on Elementals.

Gabriel (Basic Potioning, Basic Leadership, Estates) - Campaign Hero
Specialty Mana Vortex : All spellcasters under Gabriel command get 50% more mana.

Desmod (Basic Potioning, Basic Light Magic, Master of Blessings)
Specialty Shout of Light : Word of Light spell is more effective depending on hero level.

Rowena (Basic Potioning, Basic Summoning Magic, Basic Defense)
Specialty Bloodsucker : Cursed Sword of Bloodsucker inflict 25% damage instead of 20%.
 
Vincent (Basic Potioning, Basic Logistic, Supremacy)
Specialty Headcutter : All Shrunkers and Executioners in hero's army gain +1 to their attack and defense for every two levels of the hero, starting on first level.

Merlin (Basic Potioning, Basic Luck, Mana Transfer)
Specialty Restoration : The hero recover 10 spell points at the end of each round in combat if he doesn't cast spell in that round.

Ivanna (Basic Potioning, Basic Luck, Resistance )
Specialty Courage : All Base creatures under the hero’s command get +1 morale and luck.


UNIQUE BUILDINGS

Potion Lab
Supports potion of the Potioning skill.
Cost : 2000 gold + 5 Mercury + 5 Sulfur
Requirements : Town level 9, Mage Guid level 1

Crematorium
Increases weekly growth of Ghost Catchers and Ghostbusters by 2
Cost : 2000 gold
Requirements : Town level 6, Mentalist Lab

Medical Camp
Add + 10% creatures health when defending against siege.
Cost : 4000 gold + 10 Wood + 5 Sulfur
Requirements : Town level 9, Potion Lab

Academy of the Conquerors
increases weekly creature growth by 50%, provides your empire with additional 5000 gold each day and boosts Attack, Defense, Spell Power, and Knowledge heroes by +5, Morale and Luck +1. A Tear of Asha is required to build this structure.

Blacksmith provides First Aid Tent.
Resource Silo gives Mercury.

I like the premise of this faction: Elves who live in darkness so they can fight the shadows on their home ground, but you contradict yourself a lot.  there are a lot of hunters, slayers, and executioners, as well as rather brutal treatement, but you claim they are friendly people.

Creatures:

(I'll rate them out of up to four **** (stars)

* - bad, changes are advised
** - not that great, but all factions have a wacky one
*** - a rather good creature, though could be better
**** - a great creature!  I want it for my Avatar!
)

Trackers and Hunters: I like them, though the name could be changed.  Good first level shooter.  ***


Warthogs: WooT!  I like Warthogs as a creature, and they work here with the animal tie in.  good to see them not as orcish creatues. ***


Ghost Catcher and Buster: These creatures seem...sort of impotent.  they are only useful against the Necromancers, and only then midway through the game. *


Vampire Hunter and Slayer: Once again, impotent except against Necromacers.  Still, hunting evils as a big proffession is a nifty idea, and vampires are kind of an evil avatar. *


Shrunker and Executioner: This creature seems really...mismatched.  It is, however, a good uppermidlevel caster. ***


Destroyer/Terminator: This seems to be a...John Doe creature.  Nice try anyway.  **


Dragon Rider and Slayer: Ugh!  yet another hyper hunting creature, that only works on a few creatures.  You need to back off on these creatures a bit, I'm afraid. **


Overall: ** some creatures that are worth existing, others that seem to be very useless except in certain circumstaces.  

One thing I noticed is that the prices seem a bit high.  However, the creature dwellings are pretty good.


Skills and Heroes:

Heroes: I like the hero names, but their abilities seem very overpowered.  nice try anyway though.  **

Skills: Potioning is interesting, and it is infact a good skill.  I kind of like the idea.  Good Job! ****

Congratulations on this work.  Its a promising first attempt, and I see a lot of chance for improvement.

The base has some nice concepts and innovative parts but on the whole it is not justified very well. The thought of peaceful kind-hearted elves that capture animals to use in labs and are offensive-even slayers does not agree with me. Also the history is short and unrealistic and the alliances could have been presented better. The racial is most interesting but it can prove unbalanced(as the units already have good stats and abilities) and its abilities supremacy and medical aid(regeneration like unless I'm mistaken) are a bit too strong. +50% att/def plus regenerating units WITH the medical camp building for +20% more hp...The last problem is that some parts are not shown here such as the worship, initiative values(also a bit overpowered units), class/normal skill/town descriptions. I actually like the town so it's sad that it came in just a day before the contest and wasn't polished. The heroes and self-made units get a bonus.

Final grade 62%

Nice units but conflicting concepts. If you add a few things and maybe tweak some abilities it will become a lot better! I'd like to look at it again when it is edited

How you made that pictures? Becuse this pictures aren't made by mixing Homm 3 chreatures by paint. But hey! Why not about a Homm 3 chreature texture maker program? We can make cool chreatueres with that!

Well, as GL said, advertising this faction 2 days before the end of ICTC certainly gives you bonus points... And those creatures are neat. Except for the terminators, I think they're a bit unfitting.

This town is alright, considering it was posted in at the very end of when they were supposed to be submitted, so you were lucky with this town, but it looks like you have put alot of effort into it, and it seems to have paid off.

Nice history, nice creatures.

Some things could be a little bit improved, but that applies to nearly all the entires so far, so you are not unique
