HOMM2 Avatars are missing in HC. Well, creatures on HOMM2 and HOMM1 don't have those ingame "avatars"; you always see the creature's entire body. Each one of the pictures with the entire body of the creature is very large, too large to be used as an avatar on HC. I decided to try croping the pictures carefully, to make them in size of 64X64 pixel.
The pictures have 256 colours, which is basicly the standart. They don't look very well on 64 colours, but I have no problem to change them to 64 colours, if it's needed.

I am sure that you can make them a little bigger.
I mean look at my avatar, or even your own.
The ones that you posted Genielord, are smaller then both my avatar and your own.
I am sure, that if you make them the same size as my avatar, then they might fit

Well I think it would look better Genielord, if you did not cut out half of their bodies.
You only need to resize them, not cut out part of them to make them the specific size.
I think it would look better if the whole body was there.

Give the man a rest, I think they look fine how they are, and resizing generally maxes for ugly pictures when we are talking a resolution as low as this one.

I think his efforts are good, and he has done well, but I just find them better if they actually were not cropped.
If you like, I could get all the images, and make them 64x64 and not have parts of their bodies cut out?

Almost all of them look pretty blurry when they are resized. I tried it. And sometimes, the background takes such of a large space of the picture, that it will be ridiculous to keep all of it and to make the creature tiny. Take the Goblin and the Halfling as an example.

Since the Tribes Of The East Demo is out, I suppose it's about time we get our first batch of new Heroes 5 Avatars to join the existing ones. I've made a handful from the new creatures icons for Stronghold and Inferno. 64 x 64 Pixel 64 colour transperant GIF's are available here - will you upload them Valeriy?
