ha, the first other romanian I knew on Heroes... Sugi pula.. jk... i remeber you and frank were good friends..
Aculias.. what could have caused him to quit?? I really hope it wasn't over a game dispute against 1 person

I think it was a combination.
Break up with the GF.
You know how he gets when he rarely loses.
His temper got the best of him & there was a dispute with another player which gotten deep.
I think that argument was the last straw.
I used to love watching him flame the MSN ZOne when he lost a game.
One of the best players I known but he had a few problems when it came to losing & reporting some of the games.

why dont you make one thread for each of your grey haired H3 friends, this is so very interesting..
also dont forget to try yelling his name out on the streets, you have same very high chances of a reply

Frank never liked Heroes 5.
He quit playing Heroes 3 after a dispute with another ToH player (there is a thread about that here on HC created by him, just look up his profile and search for his thread "final tactics....").
After a break of about 4-6 months, he all of a sudden came back to Gamespy and played a bit just for fun, mostly 2vs2 allied games. After a few weeks, he "discovered" he doesn't have the time anymore to play 8-10 hours a day for an allied game and stopped completely. This was around august/september last year if I remember correct.

I dont think he had the heart to play anymore after that incident.
Then aagin time is always a factor.

inst- I think you are just jealous because nobody made a thread about you... don't worry keep being annoying and eventually someone might care about you...but probably not
Sorry, I had to kill the fly... back to the topic
Frank deserves respect for how he mastered the game.. hes the one that taught me a few new things and also gave me the realization that there are tons of different strategies, that Heroes is much more complex then you would ever think...he out-smarted the creators, and I'm not saying he's the only one but he deserves respect..
I went to that "final Tactics" post and you can't ask for a re-start.. if petrus is reading this it's yourfault you were drunk..
Anyway I'd like to see Frank return, possibly even start a whole new Heroes 3 thing going again, but either way I'd at least like to talk to the guy

Yes frank was indeed a great player , I really enjoyed my games against him......
Too bad he quit ,but angelito you sure he didn't like homm5? I'm trying to remmeber now and i think he quit before homm5 time am i wrong? I remmeber talking to many homm3 players about homm5 and i don't remmeber it with frank.

Many players are stuck on heroes 3.
Most didnt give heroes 4 a chance & some didnt give heroes 5 a chance either.
I agree Frank had alot of skill.
He was the only player who made my heart leap out of my throat .
He has a hugh temper was the only problem
He hated losing enough to flame you.
I think it got to him sometimes as well.

Yes, I talked to him when he came back to gamespy, and he said, the reason why he came back was because H5 disappointed him the same way as H4 did.

You're right.. many people are stuck on heroes 3 including myself.. but its only because of the complexity of the strategies mixed with the simplicity of the graphics and game, it's genius, One of a kind.
You're also right for the fact that I didn't give heroes 4 and 5 a good chance.. I purchased both and was not happy, it didn't catch my attention the way heroes 3 did.
Maybe I'm just dreaming, but I still hope that the next creators of the series will understand thats it's not so much how cool everything looks, or how 3D you can make everything.. things don't need to be to scale, granted a centaur takes up 2 hex's just as a Black dragon does.. you have to use you imagination a little bit and just use what was given.. the freedom for strategy in the game was Endless.. Frank is the one that helped me see that which is why I'm trying to get his attention
Maybe the Great Heroes games only come in multiples of 3?

There are also many stubborn players on here as well who would disagree with you.
Mainly the heroes 4 crew who plays in heroes 5.
I fell in love with heroes 3 when i first saw it myself after I fell in love with heroes 2.
Heroes 1 was AIGHT I guess.
Kind of childish for me but it was the brink of a great game.
Ves has always been optimistic.
I think people wanted some changes in the game but the funfactor needs to be a must.
I liked heroes 4 but it kicked my old com butt.
I couldnt have the sound card on, it moved slow. Graphic was slow.
It sucked.

I think sometime, a game is greater then other, because we can understand it better... , or because we r good in that one , or because we are very good in that one ...and so on.
For my point of view, a player is good when he can suit himself in any situation, "dont like" term is relative.
If ur good, "dont like" is not an option 
Have fun and be good guys
p.s.
U can also be very good when u dont play at all.....

Seems I've missed heaps...
Very sad to hear about BossBoDiddly. I didn't personally know him too well although we did play quite a few good fun games together.
