By the way, have you seen the japanese movie called Chihiro and the Witches (Spirited Away)? There is a Faceless in the movie:

That's what springs to my mind. A nonfrog version would be really creepy. (it's also where I got the mask inspiration)
I love spirited away, btw. Has anyone seen Howl's Moving Castle?

Completely off-topic here, but yes I have. I really liked it, it's very feel-good and charming, albert very different from Chihiro.

I have to make an announcement though...
I really liked this idea, and started loving it more and more and I had like tons of ideas for the faction just spraying into my mind... Finally there was so much of them that I got one of the most insane ideas lately... I'm writing a book.
It's going to have fantasy as well as biblical motives, it's going to include the present day too, the Faceless (although not by that name), and I think the idea is good enough for a book. It's kinda too long to explain right now, but the point is, the Portal thread is going to stagnate for a while unfortunately, but when we (me and one of my best friends, who has some cool ideas and also adores fantasy) finish the book I'll continue with the faction...

I can understand school related stresses, but I like this town too. It could certainly compete with the Bastion town that TDL did in the second ICTC contest. I can't wait to see the rest of the creatures. (Oh wait, actually I can.)

Oh for chrissakes ok, the book can wait.
Ok, so the town is up and running for development again. I guess.
Though now is basically the end of the school year so there's like tons of learning for grades better than F+...
By the way, thanks for the QP, though it's kinda undeserved since the town isn't finished yet

Well it's a 3rd person storyline. That's as much as I can reveal currently. It has a rather complex story which I'd rather not dwell into right now, if it's ok with you. When I finish it (in about a few years if I get lucky) I'll be sure to send it to you guys from HC as soon as I publish it
About the town, I'm currently making a low-resolution-friendly interface for creatures and sorting out stats etc. Might take me some time, but I expect it to be cool when finished

I think I got a good idea on a Shadow-type racial ability...
But as it is Baklava's thread.. I will withhold my tongue on that for now, and let him come up with his creative idea. (also it might not sync well with his creature line up)

Awesome work man, it's great that you made a story that fits with the official storyline very well. And, by the way, are you going to make any town sketches? (Well, you must make them someday, don't you). Anyway, I wanted to know if you were thinking of including an actual PORTAL in the town (It's called The Portal ). If not, then maybe the Grail structure could be a huge, maybe gigantic, dark blue, whirly portal. And gives some awesome bonus we should think of.
P.S. Baklava, the Faceless you made with that program is very cool 8)
edit: wow, i just realized the last reply was on april 25. So I guess he's writing that book of his right now . GL
