ALRIGHT! Progress! I have tried Sinitar and stalkers against AI but I have to say I was very lucky because my secondary hero was Vayshan which gave me over 40 stalkers day one plus my way out was guarded by minotaurs which also made things way easier. I managed to break out of my zone in week one but unfortunately with quite big losess (the other guarding stack were grim riders which decimated my army). I managed to capture my military post on day 1 of week 2 but I couldn't do anything else. Thanks again for tip with Sinitar now I have to practice diminishing losses upon breakout and with smaller army too since I probably won't get Vayshan again next time.

NVM, problem with insufficient army solved.I got Havez in tavern (luck again) and the next day I chained whole new army to Sinitar. Managed to clear all military posts during week 2. So I guess it can be done although I was very lucky with secondary heroes and some easy creep. Thx again for that tip it made huge difference nontheless.

Those riders are actually easy to creep - split your stalker army in all 7 creature slots of your hero - 6 stacks of 1 stalker and 1 big stack composed of all remaining stalkers. In the tactics phase place your stalkers in the back row, so the grim riders wont be able to reach your troops on their 1st turn. Like that:
SX
SX
SX
SX
SX
SX
SX
Where S is stalker, X is an empty tile. Put the big stalker stack in the corner. It could be done with 7 stacks of 1 stalker too, but its risky as you may need to retreat.

P.S Take only exp from chests untill you reach lvl 5-6.

Well I couldn't do that, because I had hydras, riders of my own and maidens so I couldn't split stalkers....when the dust settled those stalkers were the only thing that left alive. I didn't have enough mana nor spellpower to nuke them with magic alone unfortunately otherwise I would have done like You say. I used to clear dragon utopias with 7x1 stalkers but ofc I had a high level warlock. I know that strategy I just wasn't powerfull enough for it on lvl 5 on day 7. There were two stacks of 10 riders. My arrow was killing 2 at the time and I could use it 5 times so yeah technically I could kill whole stack. Hmm I gotta check if I have that save and try it again.

hmm another problem occurred. Namely I have played against barbarian and I noticed that spell dmg is being absorbed by rage. Is there any way around this defense or do I have to waste first few casts on this absorption? Sorry I know nothing about barbarians so I don't know what can be done about it.

Focus your fire one one unit at a time, focusing on those with the highest init-dmg ratio. Destructive alone won't win you the game, you must combine them with unit attacks to wear down the rage. Also, orcs have minimal rage in the beginning of the combat so getting to charge first with furies, grim raiders or dragons can change a lot, especially with luck. Luck is not reliable but I recommend it, lucky grim raider or dragon attacks can clear whole stacks before they even act. I'd also suggest that you look for initiative and elemental-boosting artifacts in your town merchants. As to the spells, favour lightning, fireball and deep freeze. Meteor shower has a greater area of effect but you will almost always want to use fireball or deep freeze instead. And deep freeze on top of being significantly cheaper, it may also lead to more damage when combined with unit attacks. Ice mastery may prove well worth it too.

Ps - Destructive is not the only solution, if you can get dark with the right spells the match might even become easy. Just don't bet on summoning, it is usually too slow to be of benefit vs orcs. Only academy can pull that off and only with support from dark.

What Elvin said + aim for swift mind. A good destructive spell casted right before his stacks play will hurt a lot. Ofcourse make sure to attack him before week 5. After that bad things can happen, no matter what path you choose.
Btw what map are you playing on ?

I'm still getting familiar with Former Friends so all my inquiries refer to that particular map. I got trashed on it by Haggash, Kaspar, Ossir, Deleb, Havez. I was always choosing Yrwana until You suggested Sinitar. So Swift mind You say. I shall remember that. Ok so according to what Elvin said it seems orcs can't be beaten with 7/1 stalker + magic strategy and require full army support. That might prove difficult against Haggash on small map where I tend to limit army buildings to minimum. Going for swift mind and full army sounds like a strategy for normal/large map or it will require insane skill on small ones. And btw Elvin, You said about luck hehe I saw that video of Your dungeon against orcs and that lucky grim rider attack that vanquished cyclops hehehe. I guess it might pay off to get it but imo not on small maps, and btw Elvin, is that Altair in your avatar?

Isn't former friends that map where you can break in the middle during week 1 and hire lvl 7 units? If so it's a totally broken map not worth playing. First to reach the middle and rush the opponent wins and only specific heroes can play that fast. Like Havez. Haggash is rather broken herself, in toh we used to ban her most of the time.

I am not suggesting that 7 stalkers and destructive cannnot take down a barbarian, it just depends on how early that happens. I have done that on week 3, after taking a dragon utopia and heading straight to the opponent. Map was dead man's lake I believe, not the most balanced but rather fun. It is a great map if you want to practice extreme, blazing-fast creeping.

And yes, I liked Altair as depicted in the first Assassin's Creed Amazing voice acting too.

Yes, Former Friends is exactly the map You described and that would explain why everybody keeps taking Havez, Haggash and Deleb on that map and why I get pawned hard by them. I managed to break out in week 1 and nuke utopia in week 3 but I never stood chance against earlier mentioned heroes. As of AC, recently I bought all first 5 games and just finished AC3 yesterday. I got totally  hooked hehe and that's why Your avatar looked so familiar. I'm buying AC4 sometime this or next week . I will test that Dead Man's Lake. Is it one of the Ubi maps or do I have to find it somewhere?

Warmachines are immensely good there but Havez also has the advantage that gremlin saboteurs disable enemy ballistae and are boosted by his special, making him one of the best heroes for the map. But in general, playing with a warmachinist there is like stealing a candy from a baby and it is exactly as lame as it sounds.

Dead man's lake can be found here. Rat race and heritage of Deleb are also insanely fast maps. In rat race there is a crazy garrison that you can break week 2-3 if you are lucky and have incredible creeping skill. It is a good test if you want to see how fast you are Dragon's cape is also interesting, see if you can break through the garrison week 2 without many losses. Just don't play dungeon there, it is too easy.

Oh lol, school of sorcery is in there. That was the only non-duel map I made during H5 It is also fast paced and you can choose the schools and spells you want, much like graduating from a magic university. This gives a new dimension in creeping as you can pull off a lot of interesting combos that you cannot in other maps. Not the most balanced of maps but fast paced and fun.

I have yet to play AC3, waiting for a new pc..

Hi, recently I have been thinking about different builds suitable for warlock and to be honest if I would want to get all favourite skills and perks I would have to reach lvl 36. My question is how do You guys play dungeon against multiple opponents? Do You rush even on large maps against 4-8 people?? Is it even possible? There is a lot of tips and strategies on these fora regarding 1vs1 games but heroes wasn't ment to be played 1vs1 imo. It is actually THE ONLY strategic game I know You can play against more than one person. Any thoughts on that??I'm planning to play against multiple opponents on weekly basis soon so I would like to have more insight into such games. Another question is what skills do You choose against orcs. Elvin You have suggested Luck but should I skip enlightenment for it? or Logistics? Sorccery since magic is being absorbed a lot?? You also said I will need support of units, does that mean I should pick attack as well?? Can You elaborate what skills do You find most helpfull against orcs on both small and big maps??

Thanks a lot for this strategy guide, feluniozbunio, Dungeon is my favorite non-mod faction, so the guide will really help.
