If you are right, I just won't be able to say if it's good or bad.
Mabey invasion of USA to Iran before they have nuclar weapon will safe many people's lives, but in these war many others might die.
And I'm sure that USA prefer that Tel-Aviv will be nuked, then many American soliders will die, and that's the way it's should be.
So you are probably right.
We should wait and see what's going on in these days.
According to the Israeli news, things aren't great.
how can u say that a non invasion to Iran might be wrong or as u said u don't know if it's good or bad that USA cannot invade Iran.Even if Iran has nuclear weapons do u think right an invasion?And why USA and many other countries can have nuclear weapons without having the risk of being invaded?

I know this sounds awful, and believe me I wish that no one had to invade no one. However, you must understand that we (the Israelis) are, well to be frank, scared.
We've been fighting for the right to live here since before our country declared independance and we're still fighting. So far we've been successful at reppeling the enemy forces time after time.
But if we'll have some Jew-hating lunatic with nukes in our region...

PrivateHudson has created an excellent thread detailing some of the reasons why the Israelis have been successful in defending their nationhood. I believe the name of the thread is called "Beg, Borrow, Steal".
But you must also consider that one of our former presidents and increasingly popular figures here in America has likened Israeli treatment of the Palestinians to the plight of South Africans. He says, "Peace Not Apartheid".
You should be very afraid because of all the enemies Israel has. But you should also take heart and feel comforted in knowing that the day & age the world lives in, is actually very similar to the cold war days. That time is still with us. No nation on earth (no matter how globally powerful) can exercise nuclear weaponry with impunity. Since the end of World War II and the endurance of the cold war, the world has been very much alive/aware/observant waiting and watching with keen intent and fear of any organization or nation with such destructive intentions. If any such group or otherwise should ever actually make good on a nuclear threat then they become the world's greatest enemy in an instant. It is commonly held that everyone knows this axiom from the leader of a nation all the way down to it's poorest goat herder. Nations who previously hated each other would unite to utterly obliterate such an enemy.
Rest assured that Israel will not be "wiped off the map", especially via nuclear means. If I were Israeli then I would worry more about a foot soldier ground/air assault completely void of nuclear technology. Such an incursion might actually be more likely ignored by super powers and the rest of the world.

You're probably right, Consis, nuclear weapons will not go flying without a VERY serious reason, however, I must say that I expeceted a firmer reaction from the UN to Iran's attepts at achieving nuclear capabilities. And I'm not talking about military solutions off course, but financial pressure.

Well, my lazy @ss would very much like to go to Israel, but since it hasn't been working lately, I have no money And besides, I go to the European school. That means they are so "concerned" about my lazy @ss they won't let me...Not come to school without a note from a doctor saying that I'm sick.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that the entire world has progressed to such a point that wars of acquisition are a thing of the past. We as a planet have come to a point where everyone expects their nation will not be assimilated into an invading agressor's territory (much like the Soviets acquired parts of eastern europe). Everyone wants the current countries to stay who they are. Any change in the current status would significantly change the balance of power. Any significant change in the balance of power would automatically wind the doomsday clock closer to midnight.
The future isn't written but one possibility can now never go away: Earth could easily be obliterated to the point of inhospitable environment to human life. This is a very real fear, not at all like the ridiculous fear-mongering and doomsaying associated with "global warming". People have become distracted from the real danger by mundane imaginative popular doomsayers like Al Gore. I say leave that obsurdity to the science fiction channel. The closest thing to any real science fiction threat is defeating Near Earth Asteroids and comets on a collision course with the planet.

Consis. You have your opinion about the "obsurdity" of the global warming but the scientists beg to differ. There is a consensus on the matter among the scientific community and I assure you that they are not doing it because of "fear-mongering". But granted a few individuals and groups loudly oppose it. They get their funding from Exxon and the like.

i agree, Global Warning is a lie, there is the a scientific truth that Global Warning is a lie, its all to do with how many sun spots there are on the sun at a time, if theirs a lot, temperature goes up, a few temperature goes down, Global Warning is supposed to making things warmer, but really its not, here in England its March and it is still frosty out (doesnt normally happen)

Well Global Warming has nothing to do with "warming", it has to do with the ozone and it's pollution.. that's why people confuse it.
I know there's "scientific" proof that Global Warming is a lie, but there's also "scientific" proof that it is a REAL threat.. science is not as exact as we thought

Oh for the love of.
It would be nearly impossible to nuke Israel without horrible fallout contaminating the entire region and thus drawing many other nations into the conflict. Not only that, but a gajillion Palestinians(read: oppressed muslims) would be annihilated as well; which kind of defeats the purpose of putting the poor Palestinian on the pedestal of the eternal struggle between righteous Islam and tainted, Zionist, jewry.
I'm guessing the uncomfortable truth here is that the Iranians want to be able to have some kind of nuclear answer should Israel ever get invaded again, lose, and decide to be a sore loser.
Edit: Or maybe, they would like a nuclear deterrent in the face of my president's crusade against the 'Axis of Evil'.
