Voted for the Dark Elves, although I heart the Necros too.
The reason is that I mostly play small-to-medium maps where the Destructive Magic, which Warlock is proficient with, dominates.

Necropolis... cuz for some reason ialways seem to love that faction most even since Heroes II, i've loved necro... but seriously get rid of stupid fatty zombie... or it would be cool if he could upgrade to mummy *drools* i like heroes II and III zombies, but not IV and V... since when did zombies have to be severly overweight McDonald eaters? Wight and Wraith are cool, and i wish i could use 'em more, but i have the death knight mod 99% of time...

Sylvan, Necropolis and Fortress are my favorites but the one i generally plays the most gotta be........................................................................................................................................
Fortress "Forge and Fire" Norse inspiration and runes FTW!!!
After what I have seen and heard I will undoubtly have the new orcish Stronghold faction as one of my favs too

Necro has been my favorite from H3 to H5 but whit new necromancy principles i haven't played that mutch yet.
Orcs will be one of my favorites when i just love might oriented armies. Great attackers with deasent defense/hitpoints and War Cries are something to look forward. My only concern is their low initiative. Creatures whit 10 ini are just fine but i hope there aren't 4 tiers whit initiative of 8 or less.

Generally, i like all of factions except Fortress and Academy, also my personal favourite at the moment is Dungeon.
