but there is no meaning to argue about this cause u are from Brazil.
It's absolutely normal to consider Pele as the best player ever.
Me,i'm from Greece(no relationship with both Brazil and Argentina) and i like brzilian football much,and i think u have the best national team in the world.But i think Maradona is the best ever as the majority of the world

The problem about Brazil is.....they have 11 superstars, but NO team! And football is a team sport. Guys like Ronaldo or Robinho are not great team players, they are selfish like hell. That's why Brazil played so bad last year in WC 2006.
That's the same reason why USA doesn't win a goldmedal in WC/olympiques of basketball since years. Many superstars, no teamplayers. The first "Dreamteam" was awesome, but then it got worse with every tourney...

Maradona was great player and icon. Best player can be anyones game but as teams the Brazil is best football team there is. There might be Superstart problems like angelito said and for all fairness you can't really win every time. France won Brazil by good defense game.
Brazil has won more WC Cups than any other team and that makes them greatest football team of all time.

Brazil are the best team, i agree, but isnt showing this on the field, because some players think they are more important than the 180 million who they represents.
When these players start to think more in the ball and less in the flashes the really Brazilian team will appear.

Well, Romario has reached 999 goals and perhaps even more than 1000 since the last time I heard about it...
And Pele did play (and score) when Brazil won in 1962, but he only played one match.

England are crappy and they have been that for many years now.
Brazil have a lot of good players, but as Angelito mentioned they don't play as a team. Just look at WC 2006. They didn't play very well, Ronaldinho was disappointing; he's never regained the level he had a few years ago when Barcelona won the spanish first division. Perhaps his form topped when they won 3-0 on Bernabeu. Since then he has only shown his talent in short moments now and then.

Yes it is.. you are correct... but they have some of the better players in the world... they just don't work as a team in any way...
Gerrard - Top class player in liverpool
Lampart - Top Class player in chelsea
Ronney - Top Class player in manchester
this three guys are for sure are some of the most important and greater players in the world... they just didn't manage to play toghether... That's why I leave england out of my top five teams...

What!? That is by no means true. All of them are top-class players.

It's many years since Ronaldo has been a top class striker. He was the best when he played for Barcelona but he's never been the same following his many injuries. He still has a great reputation but he's nothing special today. Once in a while he plays very well (like Manchester Utd vs. Real Madrid that ended 4-3 a few years ago), but overall he's become slow and inconsistent.
Robinho has yet to get a breakthrough for Real Madrid, he's not even among the usual starting 11.
Fred? He plays for Lyon if I'm not mistaken. But really, the French division can't be compared to the English Permier League the Spanish first division or the Italian serie A.
Adriano's level has also dropped. Zlatan scores all Inter's goals nowadays.
Who else have we got? Hmm...
I think that Brazil has many good strikers, but they don't have the level they once had; none of them are outstanding.
Rooney plays with great consistency. It's not just Cristiano Ronaldo that is responsible for United's current position.

Rooney?pff this guy has a serious problem.I think he must be expelled for one or more years from the championship.
Everytime that i see him i wanna break my tv.He is insane.He is not football player.He is just the "wannabe" badboy.Pfff he sucks.
But i agree that is a very good striker.But with no brain
