Hi,
Hehe, yeah the "buy-a-wife-let's-have-a-baby" things is funny  I am assuming you played that on easy, because if you pump it to "just" normal the Medusa is comming with double clones of the 50 or something Unicorns ( the white ones....hehe could there be others ?  ) and that makes it almost impossible. If you were going Paladin, you would be better of with Ghosts ( life drain and +50% to all physical damage) against Pato , also a well placed spell would be in it's place in this battle - I'm thinking upgraded trap ) to get rid of the Ogres ( not the jumping fellas ).
But alot comes down to items and specially set items and your babies "outcome" - For instance, my mages 4 babies was divided like this ; 2 x 5 to defence , 1 that gave +10 to max mana, and 1 that gave +10% to all exp. earned. - So a nice little handful of off-springs I had there 
If you should ever have even the slightest chance to beat Pato, you should go for, plugens - get Box of Rage, and then Rina ( ring ) babies and staret planting your "seeds" and in EVERY single battle from there on in always use atleast 2 rages (one of each ! ) I actuallt got "Gloth" up to lvl 1 so I could protect my shooters with a absorbing shield ( 400 of EVERYTHING ) before they took damamge. was hard but I made it in the end

Sphere, when u buy that game, do u download it trough the internet? If so when du u pay? Before or after? And is it really safe?

1. Sphere, when u buy that game, do u download it trough the internet?
a) Yes and no. You have to go to the GamersGate ( link was provided in my previous post ) - Create an account / a log-in ( as you would here )
then find KB and press buy - it will then link you to GG's accounting ( safe alright )and will give you an option as to how YOU wishes to pay. Then you will be going through some extra security ( mainly to do with your chosen way of paying ). Then... you'l get an e-mail ( or 2 ) saying that all is in order and that your payment is cleared.
So far so good.
Now you will be directed to a GG's site that will have a few ( read SMALL !!! ) d/l's that you need to have. Mainly GG's OWN d/l program ( which means that you are directly linked to them and then you just press d/l KB ........ and your done.
Sorry if this is a bit confusing, but it's really this simple
I got mine and I d/l the whole game whithin 30 min !

Already played the demo and decided to buy the game. Wish I had been a little more prudent and called up my local Gamestop to see if they had it, but it's a bit late for that now.
EDIT: Don't bother getting it from Atari's website. Thanks to some error, the activation code that was emailed to me doesn't work. So now I have a $40 dollar game I can't play. Oh yeah. I'm one @#$%! happy camper right now.

I had this moral quandary: King's Bounty or Brisingr. I can only do so much in one day. I decided to go with Brisingr. Why you ask? Because dad bought Brisingr for me and I'm broke so I'll get King's Bounty later. 
btw, Brisingr is snowing epic!

I finally managed to get the game working. It didn't make a whole lot of sense why my activation code didn't work the day I bought it but magically worked the day after. Oh well, at least it works.
So far, it's a very entertaining game. Easily worth $40. It plays like Heroes except you don't have to deal with upgrades, a castle, or a turn-based style of play. The graphics are great, the music is fairly standard fantasy stuff, and the gameplay is simple but deep. There are a lot of creatures to recruit which I think is a big plus in my book. Currently I have an army consisting of Royal Snakes, Swordsmen, Guardsmen, Priests, and Dwarven Alchemists. It's a fun, ensemble army. Since you really only have to worry about morale with undead members of your army, you're free to mix and match which goes a long way. One thing that does take awhile to get used to is the Leadership stat. Instead of having an infinite number of recruits, the number of a specific unit is limited by it's leadership value. For example, archmages have a leadership number of 200 and my paladin's leadership stat is just above 2,000, so I can only recruit 10 archmages. At first it's annoying but it makes sense as you go along.
The game isn't perfect though. There are some spelling errors(for example, I had to go find a herd of fsheep), and the game also has fatally crashed my system twice now.

Ok. I just finished the game tonight and thought I'd share my final thoughts on the game in a simple pro/con format.
Pros
1) 3 character classes add replayability.
2) A very large and diverse selection of units to field.
3) Nice graphics.
4) Nice music and sound effects.
5) Lots of spells.
6) Rage box adds an extra layer of depth to battle.
7) Turn-based battle.
8) Lots of artifacts to choose from.
9) Wives allow for some unique bonuses and extra artifact slots.
10) A long adventure. About 30+ hours or so, depending on what kind of gamer you are and how much of a life you lack.
Cons
1) Uninteresting story.
2) Crashes to desktop (primarily when fighting with/against demons for some odd reason), and rarely (about 3 times) completely crashed system.
3) No multiplayer or skirmishes; you only get the campaign.
That about covers it. Definetely worth $40 if you come across a copy. Katauri Interactive did a great job.

Must have missed that part entirely. Second time's the charm I suppose.
Do you get anything worthwhile for the fight aside from experience and gold? I'm already in the Dwarven lands on my second play-through and have little desire to go back if it isn't worth it.

First of, you get a lot of experience.
Second, if you also kill Lucky, you get to marry whatshername, Mirabel I think, and she gives attack and defense bonuses to Pirates and bandits.
And last but not least, it's just way too easy not to do it. (Like all the boss fights)
Edit: After you finish the Dwarven Lands you can take the sub straight to the Islands.

Already hitched. Decided to spare Lucky this time. I guess I can go back and kill him. Battles are certainly a lot more pleasant once you get geyser.
