Rumors on the 1c forum, yes. A guy said that he had seen in an interview that they will only give it to the ones which were going to produce maps/mods, but hopefully it wiuld be included to everyone

Hi,
It's been awhile since I checked the 1c forum but to my surprise I found a demo ( Russian version ) of the King's Bounty : Armored Princess there and I took a shoot at it. After about 7 min of d/l ( 400 something mb's ) from this mirror ( Gamershell ) I was up and running
- It looks pretty decent, new creatures én mass and items that I haven't seen before and of course the new pet. All good , alas the whole shabang is in Russian....so maybe we could persuade, Vlaad to translate some of the pointers i.e. quests and such ? so that us mere mortals could enjoy the demo even more....
Anyway, enjoy the demo, it really is something to look forward too, in my humble opinion

While Vlaad is installing the game, feel free to post screenshots for our viewing pleasure and my translation skills.
Alas, I can't do more than that right now since I'm afraid to install serious games right now (even demos) because of extreme lack of time.

Three more hours till the download is complete. *sigh* By the way, while I do understand some Russian, Geny is HC's official translator. Check the official forum while waiting, there's some info in English too.

All right then, this is a Highteraunt (what ever it is). It can fly, has a sharp beak, resistant to magic and once per combat it can lay an egg which will hatch the next turn producing 50% of the parents' amount.

That's what the description says. I'll be back in a moment with more translations.
Paladin:
Skills: Steel Armor, Skillful, Devoted to Light, Holy Warrior.
Abilities (in order of screenies):
Second Breath - allows an already moved allied unit of level 1-4 and up to 660 leadership to move again. The paladin does not waste his turn. Doesn't work on undead. Recharge - 2 turns.
Prayer - heals and resurrects himself and nearby allies for 24 health. Nearby undead and demons receive 14-16 magic damage and run in fear. Does not resurrect dead units, plants and mechanical creatures. Works on units of levels 1-4. Uses - 1.
T-Rex:
Skills: Tyrant, Tough Scales, Giant Lizard, Terrifying, Devourer.
Abilities:
Devour Corpse - the lizard eats a any creature corpse and completely regains its own health and Action Points.

Now, this is really great, seeing that Paladins only have a speed of 2 great news indeed
As for the T-rex, they already have a total HP of 1000...and if my memory serves me right a speed of 6, hell these bad boys pose an ever greater thread than a Back Dragon , head to head....for now that is

Hi,
Still having a blast with the demo, belive it or not When I was about to dig for , what I thought was xx amount of gold , I pressed the "old" dig button and wham I was flying, literally....
Sweet, sweet indeed , that was until I found myself in a cave with a lvl 45 opponant..... ( haven't been able to beat that one yet ).
Apart from that, I do think that they have learned a lesson from the 1 Demo they chucked out there ( limited to lvl 6-8 ).
Now they made a map witch has a storyline and makes you play around with the various skill-trees , also revealing many of the mid to high lvl creatures so that people, like me, gets a "true" feeling of a mighty hero.
Granted, it's a knife-edge whether to reveal just a smidge too much or hold back with something, but in this case , personally I think they have held back just as much to keep peoples interest peeked
Assassins ( clearly taken from Disciples 2 ++ ) 's gonna be one of my favorite creatures at least till I hit lvl 15+ , right ?

This game is fun, surprised it is not more widely spoken of or marketed, at least that is my impression.
As for the mage yes it is all the way fireball, fireball, fireball. Finally got one Ice Snake spell or something yesterday so it would be nice to have more variety in usefull spells on the sequel.
Of course I'm early in the game (completing the quests on the graveyard) so that's my current impression.
