Then you should re-check your calculations. According to the article there is tons of text in the game. And from my personal experience with another game of these guys most of it is filled with humour and small jokes. IMO a quality translation that doesn't miss all those things takes a hell lot more than a month. And I'm only talking about the storyline and dialogues, add to that all the words in the game (creature names, buildings, ranks, spells etc.) and you get quite a lot of work. And after all is said and done you still need to re-check everything you've doine for errors and implement it all in the game.

The Minimum System Requirements have been announced on the russian King's Bounty site. It says (hopefully right):
- Windows XP / Vista
- DirectX 9.0c
- Processor: Pentium IV, 2,6 MHz or analogous AMD
- RAM: 1GB
- Video Card: nVidia GeForce 6600 (128MB) or analogous by ATI
- DVD-Driver

Maybe, but not today. I odn't have time for long translations today.
What I do want to say, is a feature I haven't seen in other games: interactive objects on the battlefield. They can appear in the beginning of the battle depending on the whereabouts of the battle. Some examples:
Treasure chest - can be picked up by any unit (friend or foe).
Holy statue - this statue blesses one the untis in its range with one of the following spells: Bless, Divine Armor, Cure.
Wasp Hive - a swarm of wasps attacks a random unit in its range.
Volcano - casts Fireball or Fire Storm on a random close by unit or units.

They do have 2 years of difference. And besides, I don't find the minimal requirments that high, in fact I think it's kind of standart for a modern game.

Fair enough, it's just a bit of a shock because the h5 game doesn't run that great even on a decent system...plus look at the original game, look what it used to be that's all.
So for example I have an x800...that's right on the minimum specs...slideshow?

x800 is way above 6600 so I wouldn't say slideshow for you.
I on the other hand have x1600 so I'm in it for the slideshow.

Well sure I have 16 pipes but my concern was that it is of the same generation as the minimum specs, not in the same generation with the recommended 7800...my other computers integrated 6200 will never run it. (Though it does fine with heroes V)

If this isn't copied from anywhere the maker decerves some serious credit.
But they could remove the singer, it breaks the illusion a little.

Personally, I don't really like the music, it's way too slow for me...but the "Necromancer Eclipse" is pretty nice although it is not that rhytmic...
I hope, that there will be more downloadable music at the site soon...!

No way. I'd describe it as an adventure game with many RPG elements and tactical battles... or something like that.
Edit: Imagine a HoMM game without castles and with only one hero and you'll be pretty close to what this game is.

The superbosses and armegeddon look awesome. Though i wish they did an armegeddon more like heroes 5, with the slow gradual pain of seeing everyone on the map decimated after the explosion
