Pocket Heroes v1.0
I wonder why there haven't been any threads on this yet - a homm2 revival on pdas called Pocket Heroes:

It's a mix of heroes of might and magic 2 & 3 series on pocket pc (and palm soon). Suppossed to be free of charge at first, but now since it will be released officially, they're going to charge $19 for it.
I'm pretty excited, as heroes 2 was my favourite. And this does resemble homm2.

As I know some russian is going to make heroes 2 style game for mobile phones.

Um didn't barbarians in H2 start with 3 attack? (crag among others).. even tho i doubt he would reach 3SP+3K before getting a point in attack

Just a minor note:
Ubi didn't buy 3DO, they only bought the rights to Might and Magic/Heroes. If they bought anything else from 3DO I'm not aware of it. 3DO was bought by several different companies including UbiSoft, Namco Hometek, JoWood Productions, Crave Entertainment, Microsoft, and Trip Hawkins (the founder of 3DO).
As far as being legal, I don't know. But the impression I get is that technically stuff like this and fan fiction are copyright violations, but most companies don't enforce it. And some even encourage it.....as long as the stuff is free like WOG.
I guess I have to buy a PDA now.....no more rushing home because it's been 1 1/2 hours since I've played homm and I'm going through withdrawels.

WWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I have the beta.
It's pretty nice: Graphics are half Heroes II (Adventure Map, Creatures, Battles) and Half Heroes III (Resources, Artifacts, Heroes). Battles are wierd because creatures don't have animations. I'll update this post as I play more!
