  1. The three campaigns will feature the Orcs, the Academy and the Necropolis.
  2. Rob King has once again worked on the score.
  3. Isabel, Freyda, Duncan, Wulfstan and Zehir will return.
  4. Arantir will be the Big Bad Villain.
  5. Orcs hate demons and wish to battle Biara.
  6. Nival claims that the orcish castle will feature the most unusual and beautiful architecture of the entire Heroes series.

NUMBER SYSTEMS: We wanted to make orkov original and unlike on their fellows from other popular works. Of course they have all traditional for the tribes of barbarians features, but in this case our orki possess unique appearance, unique habits and skills. However, as far as their lock is concerned, in it there are both the standard structures and unique buildings; all buildings are made from the bones and the skins, and on the form they are similar to the tent- tents. It seems to us that the fortress of orkov will be the most uncommon and most beautiful architectural construction in an entire series.

Barbaras — hero, who does not use magic. What it can contradict against its enemies, who are not avoided volshby?

NUMBER SYSTEMS: So there is — a barbarian more it loves to attack how to be defended; it completely denies any magic and despises it. One of its unique abilities is the skill "to spoil" strange incantations — the stronger it developed in hero, the weaker will be the attacks of enemy. At its disposal there is also six combat calls, whose effectiveness is compared with the usual charms.

NUMBER SYSTEMS: As in other races, which dwell in the world Of askhan, the army of orkov consists of seven it is specific the troops: gobliny, centaurs, orki- soldiers, shamanki, leaders, viverny and cyclops — in each of them are their distinctive special features. Gobliny — the mean, cowardly and terribly dull creation, napadayushchiye by flocks and being attempted to run out from the battlefield with the least hint to the danger. Centaurs — the hybrid of people and horses; they strike enemy at a distance, and orki- soldiers — strong infantry, which is the backbone of entire army.

Largest and strongest orki become leaders, they are characterized by gigantic increase and they are armed by two-handed axes. Viverny — the large flying lizards, and cyclops are — only essences, which know how with the siege of city to inflict loss on urban walls.

All forms of troops in the army of orkov possess the unique ability: being subordinated to the call of the blood, they become more furiously, it is more martial and it is more aggressive. But the main thing, the more active they conduct, the better they battle — this moment it is key during the game for their lock.


Most interesting points I spotted:

- Babarians will developed increased magic resistance with higher levels.

- Babarians will have 6 battle calls that equivalate the most common spells.

- Confirms that Orc Shaman will sacrifice Goblins to regain mana.

- Shamans can use Haste and Slow spell.

- Cyclops will attack city walls.

This is not accurate:
1. He said the the effect will be better as the skill progresses, whether it is affected by hero's level is still unknown.
2. He didn't use the word "resistance", he said that enemies' attacks will be weaker. He might have meant resistance, but then again he might have meant exactly what he said.

A short comparison

Stalker: +1 attack/defence, minimum/maximum damage, speed and health! Only initiative stays the same but it got a nice compensation for losing ranged ability. Well, the unit already had a melee inclination and you have spells to make up for the loss of low tier ranged. Poison is probably the same as poisonous attack but it may be different for all we know. Invisibility seems interesting and justifies its name

Blood Witch: She gains 1 def and 5hp(wow! ) but loses 2 points of initiative and has a barely decreased average damage. Coupled with her immunity to curses I'd say it can be worth it, after all they needed some more survivability and they still get to play before paladins

Minotaur Captain: Tell you what, it loses double attack but it gains so much more! For one +3 def, 1 needed point of initiative and 4hp. At worst you gain a good tank plus the aura of bravery unless passing bravery to adjacent units it gives a morale bonus that would make nearby furies crazy!

Black Rider: Hmm it gets +1 initiative, +2 attack and a ride by attack which I believe is pretty self-explanatory(though loses +2 max damage) though it loses the charge...I'd say only good if you are to get the first hit vs paladins, otherwise I wouldn't like to lose my lovely charging bonus.

Acidic Hydra: Barely decreased defense and average damage with a slight boost in the initiative. Worth it I'd say but it loses regeneration. I have the feeling that poison bloos hurts everyone that strikes at them.

Shadow Mistress: Wow, major physical boost there! +3 to min/max damage, +1 initiative,+1 speed and 10 more hp! However they lose 4 mana and ranged ability which strikes as strange. Melee then? Seems like a major change to dungeon gameplay.

Red dragon: Seems to trade 10 max damage and 5 hp for +1 initiative and immunity for incinerate. In any case I believe it might be necessary to upg it against fast charging units, taking the first hit always prevents losses Especially since it has firebreath and incinerate is probably an offensive ability(either poison like or armour breaking if I had to guess).

what nobody has talked about in this super long thread is whether they will have new sound effects for these new upgrades?  (because there is a diff in sound effects say between a green & emerald dragon for example...)

There is some new artwork about TotE, thanks to Mistweaver for finding it They sure look more mature and not at all cartoonish.

I'll work on translating.  ARG!  I've been wating for hours for the next ep of Angel to be uploaded!

Btw: The Centaurs are supposed to be demonic, they were experiments made by the Wizards who are secretly part of a conspriacy to make demons into their slaves.  Zehir only saved the world (kinda) because there was a contract dispute.

Others look cool, love the buildings, and the Rakshassa looks exactly the same wth?

The Rakshassa/Zombie one says: "Alternative The Upgrades"

I interpret the one with the pale, tatooed person to say "New Campaign for Necropolis."

The one above it: "New campaign for Orcs"

The one with the Poa Kai: "viverNza."  Not sure about that one.

The one at the top results in: "N.OBAYA R.ACHA"  I have no Idea there.

The one beneath it with the monocromatic sketch is actually decipherable: "New Hero"

I didn't bother with the obvious ones.

puteshchestvennika actually means travellers or adventurers ... so it would mean city of orcs,the refuge for adventurers...

Lol I like battlemage! no longer stupid cap on mage's head.

Look what I found:




text files named "Crystal Dragon" and "Naga". Were in folder with creature desriptions and names. While Naga file is proper, Crystal Dragon value has "(deleted)" content.

So we can probably except naga as new neutral.

It seems I've a good pass!

Couple of new one abilities:







Frightful Presence: There's a chance the enemy that attacks this creature panics and tries to run to the edge of the arena to get as far away from the creature as possible, losing all initiative accumulated by this time. (Doesn't affect creatures immune to Mind-related spells).

Notice it's not Nightmare's Fear

Crystal Scale: Crystal Dragon is immune to direct creature killing abilities such as  Harm Touch, Vorpal Sword, Deadeye Shot, etc

There's also Double Shot, (not Elven Double Shot) and "Count", but it has no description.

Notice those abilites, Naga and Crystal Dragon are also in normal h5, without HoF. So they could be only not implemented projects.

BUT

Naga Temple is only in HOF! so this project is probably continued!


@Daystar: search in (better) dataa1/texts.pak/text/game. maybe you'll dig out sth more

I hate to blow up your bubble of expectations, but Crystal Dragon, Naga were the early creatures that did not make to the release.

Crystal Dragon was supposed to be a neutral, while Naga was later replaced by Raksasha.

Nightmare also had Frightfull presence and fear at the beta test, also it had charge, but everything except fear was removed later.
