@Lizardman: I was wondering as well if the Shaman is a shooter or not. She does melee attack in the trailer, so it's pretty confusing.
@Elvin and Cepheus: I really didn't finish HoF campaign. My CD/DVD player doesn't work well, and for a long time it can't read CD/DVD's, so I didn't get to finish the entire campaign. I had to avoid reading your entire replies, since they include spoilers.

She's actually called the Earth Daughter, and she's a caster.

Ok GL. I didn't bother to finish the campaign myself, so I cheated and looked at the text files. I hope that nobody follows my example.

Just a comment to the Isabel/Biara discussion: After you finish the Zehir campaign on HOMMV and they teleport to the Silver Cities you see a final video with the same graphics as the intro video. There Isabel and Godric walks trough the ruins of the church, and Godric tells her that there is much work to do. Then she says "I'd like to start immediately" and we see a red light in her eyes. That means that Biara replaced Isabel on the throne right after the battle with the Soverign. I allways wondered about Isabels eyes until I finished HoF.

Screw shooters - Orcs are melee! (except of Centaurs.. but i love those as ranged) , let them have the caster and then make them melee ! Orcs go melee - rushes the fronts..

I agree that orcs are meele soldiers, but isn't only 1 shooter to few? I think it's odd if the Earth Daughters/shamans, wathever, only cast 2-3 times and then attack in meele combat with two knives. They does not look like fighters and the knives may be just for defence if the enemy get too close. Perhaps they can cast other things that does not require mana

Shure, i forgot that
*Goblins rain down on the defenders like hail from the sky. Even the bravest defenders are struck down and covered by stinking dead bodies from the far east. Angels falls.... Priest dies..... and noble griffins fall down to the inferno on the ground.....*

Two heroes. Hmm.
What I noticed: I thought the Quroc campaign would be a prologue campaign because we free orcs from the human/wizard opression. This Picture shows that Quroc's liberation crusade takes place at the same time as Gotai and Kujin are in Ashan. From the video we know that Gotai and Kujin live in the same time as Zehir, Isabelle, Biara, etc. logically Quroc also lives in the same time...
Now the major problem for me: If Qurocs campaign takes place in the time of H5 how come the Orcs still are enslaved? That is really odd... unless the renegades have started to make orcs their slaves again but I would find that very odd... And btw: Because Arantir is alive we know TotE takes place between HoF and DM. Uptil now I haven't found any clouse how close TotE is to DM but prehaps their will be hints in the campaigns. Which actually means that the Orcs didn't watch the skull of shadows for long because Quroc is the one to claim it...

My point is that H5 should take place a looooong time after the Orcs freed themselvers and went to Ranaar so that by the time of H5 there shouldn't be any more orc slaves in the Griffin Empire of elsewhere.

So Quroc seems to have survived a 500 years, that means he lives a loooong time. And because of that he is able to fight at the time of HV/DM.

He does look old...
I wonder if orcs do live incredibly long lives like that. I mean,
humans live ~70-90 (barring slayage or disease)
Elves live ~300
Demons ~1000? judging by Kha-Beleth. Then again, he might not be an ordinary demon. I wonder how long Nagas and Dwarves live?
Dwarves ?~130?

well, Lions live ~30 years, and Eagles ~12-23, depending on species and food. So normaly I would say about 21 years, but their contact with the griffin empire probobally extends their lifespan through nutrition, breeding in the early years, and magic.
Griffins ~40 years.

In the trailer is said "over 180 creatures". Are there more new neutrals or something?
8*21=168 for the castles
6 normal + 4 HoF neutrals
is total 178 creatures..
So there will be new neutrals or something?
