well, the orcs definitely seem a lot alike the orcs from Warcraft... which originally had brown skin too, btw.

But the faction has enough original stuff going for them that I'm willing to overlook this...

This actually means that it the catapult and earthquake spells finally are of some use... In the siges you'd usually have to wait hours till the front gate gets knocked out till you'll finally be able to get inside or atleast attack the unit that blocks it without reciving dmg from the moats. If you had a hole in the castle it was plain suicide to go trough it as 1. you'd get blocked and you'd have to take the damage from the moats all the time 2. you'd recive damage twice from the moats before you'd even reach the enemy blocking the hole... The not being stoped anymore part is a huge improvement (atleast I think so). Besides the moats did some nice dmg over time.

Yes, it's annoying to take a siege with melee units and orcs would be really bad off.

i just noticed,there is really much new artifacts,now artifact count is doubled do anybody have noticed that inferno have new battle theme?

However it is not true.  I just tested it in the orc campaign mission and the moat did stop forward movement.

No its not wrong.It only stops it once. Until now you were allways stoped atleast twice with large units.Now you'll only be stoped once and then you'll be able to run into the castle.

If you have one of those on the links I gave(which are not working anymore ) you put them in the data folder and they appear where Agrael's trial should have been.

It make me wwonder, in the demo data the Death Knight's scripts and textures are on one place with necropolis and they are a bit changed, maybe there was an idea to turn them back to undead's towns...

Weird. Maybe it was done for consistency though. Btw for those wondering about the shatter skills they seem appear quite often even if it's just 5%. Only played a few times but they do pop up and it seems VERY risky to pick a magic skill in the hopes that they won't get it.

I started the map 2 times and the ant-magic skills appear every 2nd level. But Elvin they are 4 different skills and if every of them has 5%... (all are with 5?)

anyway after I played Stronghold... this "non-magic" think with them is no problem... they are ultimate killers, this blood range absorbing damage and the bonuses just will take haven out for minutes with their light magic, the humans were might??? If they are might the Khans are something more they are steroid maniacs

I doubt it but if that happens it would be a great. Then this expansion name should be "Return of the Dread knights". "The new power is rising in the darkness and undeads shall take their place once again(most imbalanced town).
