Fortress alternatives

I see Fortress as the hardest to think about Alternatives, so i tried! .. Check it out:

Defender: Shieldguard or Shieldguardian – Much like the shieldguard these just guard their fellow dwarves, but they have no shieldwall instead they gain more health and 1 more to attack. They are tougher to beat, but have no shieldwall (I fear this is bad balanced)

Spearwielder: Skirmisher or Spear ranger – Still a shooter, but with 6 shots, a little more attack and 1 to imitative. These are suppose to be better shooter and not suppose to cripple creatures.

Bear rider: Blackbear Rider or Blackbear Raider – with less armor, meaning less defense, they gain 1 more in speed and a bit more attack and damage. But they get a nerf in HP and paw strike is out. These are a bit faster but weaker in the defense art!

Brawler: Berserker or Warrior – Being more calm then Berserker these also have immunity to mind control. They have more armor, more health, more speed. These fight within out going crazy, more calm and tougher.

Rune Priest: Rune Patriarch or Rune Monk - Faith booster (nearby troops get bonus to moral) Caster, spells: Endurance, deflect missile. These are not great for attacking but having them near your troops, because of Faith booster! They gain a bit more defence and 5 more HP

Thane: warlord or Stormer – These are faster and more offensive! Still having storm strike, they suffer in defence and health (defence more then Health). These are more offensive then Warlords.

Fire dragon: Magma dragon or Lava dragon – Still having all of its specialities, Magma shields changes to Lava shield, Lava shield only does 30 % and not 40%. They gain 1 more speed, from 5 to 6. Attack goes to 35 and Defence to 35 also. Making it faster and a bit more offensive, but still defensive

Necropolis:

Skeleton --> Skeleton warrior (sure about this one) with better stats and black armor like in Homm 3
Zombies --> Aaah I hate them, I don't care
ghost --> I don't know, maybe a griffin ghost or something
Vampire --> a were-bat with + attack and speed and - defense
Lich --> Lich lord with raise dead spell or maybe a Spider Lich since the Necros worship the Spider Goddess
Wight --> wish it was Dread knight but who am I kidding, probably a Reaper
Bone dragon --> incorporeal dragon or maybe a mix of spider and dragon.

And Blood furie should be blonde

1.Peasant--> Lazy Bum takes 1gold a day and doesn't fight
2.Archer--> Sniper no range penalty carries huge sniper rifle
3.Footman--> Handyman does work around the castle can repair golems
4.Griffin--> Puffin gains alot of speed but loses lots of strength and size to say the least
5.Priest-->Pentacostl Preacher- powerful unit that handles snakes, has powerful "slain by the spirit" spell. Can be upgraded again into Benny Hinn
6.Cavalier-->Champion: a peasant riding a mule
7.Angel--> Fallen Angel: not evil but can't fly or even get up

Necropolis
1.Skeleton-->Skeleton Juggler throws bones at enemies
2.Zombie--> Corpse: uh well it's a corpse so it just lies there
3.Ghost--> Casper powerful but doesn't damage enemies
4.Vampire-->um... really evil vampire
5.Lich-->rymes but starts with a B, very powerful melee slap attack
6.Wight--> Kite flies around and distacts the enemy
7.Bone Dragon--> Boneless Dragon: A dragon that resembles a pile of jelly

Inferno
1.Imp-->Gimp: good unit but can't move very much
2.Horned demon-->Horny demon: there isn't much to screw down in hell
3.Hell Hound--> Holy Hound: casts prayer
4.Succubi-->Angsty Teenage girl: Shops at Hot Topic and is full of drama
5.Hell charger--> Generic Flaming Horse
6.Pit Fiend-->Pit Nigga Going with this, can also gate KFC chicken to any location in the battlefield
7.Devil-->Fallen Devil exactly as was described before

It's kinda hard to be creative here :X

Dungeon
1.Scout--> Death Dragon of Doom: a substantial upgrade
2.Blood Maiden--> Blood Nun: a very chaste Blood Maiden who dresses conservatively at all times
3.Minotaur-->BDSM minotaur. Is tied, chained and blindfolded
4.Lizard Raider --> Lizard: The Lizard got very tired of his rider one day and so it's just a lizard
5.Hydra--> Shallow Hydra: it is afraid of deep water and swims in kiddie pools
6.Shadow Witch--> Pop star. Has to strut and shake her hips constantly before attacking
7.Shadow Dragon--> skeleton : practical joke by nival

Sylvan
1.Pixie--> a butterfly: more useful/powerful then pixie
2.Battle Dancer--> Flamboyant Dancer: ditches the war paint for a more fabulous approach, very fashion conscious
3.Hunter--> Gatherer
4.Druid--> deer. More specifically the deer head that the druid elder is wearing
5.Unicorn-->Liopleurodon: http://www.filmcow.com/charlietheunicorn.html
6.Treant--> a frickin tree: generates wood
7.Green Dragon--> Tween Dragon: listens to emo music, writes awful poetry

Academy
1.Gremlin-->Kremlin: recruited from st. basils cathedral
2.Stone Garg-->aluminum gargoyle: eco-friendly and light
3.Iron Golem--> Fiberglass Golem: causes all enemies to itch themselves
4.Mage-->Paige: doesn't know much about magic
5.Djinn-->Shazzan
6.Rakasha Rani-->Aslan: lion that is similiar to the pheonix as it comes back to life, also a flying unit
7.Colossi-->Abstract Metal Statue

I have some ideas for the dungeon
(By the way this is serious no jokes)

LV. 1 Scout-->Assilant, No ranged attack but is faster and can disappear from the enemy's sight for a few turns every battle

LV. 2 Blood Maiden--> Dark Bladist, eliminate the no retaliation but can attack multiple enemies

LV. 3 Minotaur--> Minotaur Gladiator, Can do extra damage upon his attack his secound attack, in other words he gets really mad

LV. 4 Dark Rider--> Skull Raider, Has the charge ability but doesn't have lizard bite

LV. 5 Hydra--> Emporer Hydra, Has only 6 heads but they all have venomous fangs

LV. 6 Shadow Witch--> Shadow Priestess, they are the priestesses to Mallsala, anyway they have fewer shots but can cast destructive spells

LV. 7 Shadow Dragon--> Pitch-Shadow Dragon, Only resistent to magic not immune and they curse their enemy upon attack (Malssala's favorite childran so she helps them)
So what do you guys think?

But they also have low def. which means, without retaliatation they get slaugheted in first hit, then move on to next creature, again getting their head removed - That is actully a good idea that is just too weak... With no retaliatation they would be overpowered

Lvl 7? aint this the living version of: Spectral dragon? just with resisten to magic? - And the name is a bit ...

Well perhaps the pitch-shadow dragon could have magic mirror insted of resistance and perhaps he could be a darkness dragon
The dark bladists could have increased defense and hp. and only one target can retaliate proably the targeted one
also perhaps the assilant could have reduced hp?

Here are my ideas for the other towns
Academy:

LV. 1 Gremlin--> Gremlin Sabatoger, Can't repair but instead does extra damage to mechanical creatures and war machines as well as lowers their stats

LV. 2 Gargoyle--> Miral Gargoyle, No resistances but instead a quarter af the damage is reflected back

LV. 3 Golem--> Gold Golem, Faster with no unlimited retaliation also gives you gold after battle depending on how many were killed

LV. 4 Mage--> Battle mage, no new spells but they can do extra damage with magical attack

LV. 5 Dijin--> Dijin Mystic, now they can also cast regular spells but theese ones take mana to use

LV. 6 Rakasha--> Rakasha lord, Can't dash but they have even more arms thus allowing them to take on multiple foes

LV. 7 Collosi--> Thunder giant, no ranged attack but better melee attack and they have call lightning

Sylvan:
LV. 1 pixie--> Dryad, Casts slow instead of Clensing (They call on those thorns that appear when you cast slow) also more tankish

LV. 2 Blade Dancer--> Battle Dancer, Unlimited retaliation but can't hit as many targets

LV. 3 Hunter--> Grand Hunter, Paralyzes targets instead of stuns them making it so they can't retaliate for a while

LV. 4 Druid--> Arch Druid, more spells but less powerful attack

LV. 5 Unicorn--> Battle unicorn, Better attack and Damage but no aura of magic resistance

LV. 6 Treant--> Oak Treant Can't take roots but stronger and faster

LV. 7 Green Dragon--> Gold Dragon, Aura of Sylanna Which heals surronding units and boosts morale but has no Acid Breath

Fortress:
LV. 1 Defender-->Guardian, much higher defence and Hitpoints but no shield wall (good idea but it never seemed to fit in)

LV. 2 Spear Wielder--> Spear grappeler, can't wound enemies but more shots and can scale castle walls

LV. 3 Bear Rider--> Grizzly Raider, Higher atk and damage but not armored and a little less Hit points

LV. 4 Brawler--> Brawler Fighter, No berzerker rage but higher Atk. and has wound ability

LV. 5 Rune Priest--> Rune Bishop, Replace Deflect Missles with Fireball. And has more mana

LV. 6 Thane--> Chieftan, No Thunderbolt but instead has call lightning

LV. 7 Lava Dragon--> Obsidion Dragon, Higher Defence And does fire damage upon normal attack but no Magma shield just fire shield

Haven:
LV. 1 Peasent--> Millitia, No Bash but has higher Attack and Dammage

LV. 2 Archer--> Long-Bow Man, Still has tri-shot as well as No Ranged Penalty but lower attack

LV. 3 Footman--> Man-At-Arms, Eliminate shield bash but now has Double attack like minataurs

LV. 4 Griffin--> Royal Griffin, Armored and has swoop instead of Battle Dive which happens imidiatly and does less damage

LV. 5 Priest--> Monk,Can heal surronding units but has a melee penalty

LV. 6 Cavalier--> Crusader, No lay hands but instead can do Holy smite which targets an Undead or Demonic creature and does a Reasonable amount of damage

LV. 7 Angel--> Prince of Elrath, Has aura of Blessing so surrounding units Have Divine Strenght cast on them, but have a less powerful resurection
(From here all I have are the names no abilities yet)

Necropolis:

blood maiden- harpy, introduce flying, the best option.
minotaur- king minotaur
chaos hydra instead of emporer hydra
darkness dragon goes better

Sorry but it would be impossible to make blood Maidens into Harpies because while Blood Maidens are Dark Elves and Harpies are a diffrent race and so far it appears that no unit turns into a diffrent race when they upgrade

The minotaur kings unfortunatly could also not happen because as we all know the minotaurs are slaves to the Dark Elves so they promote them to jobs slaves may get such as Gladiators but proably they will not make them royalty unless one became a living legend but then they would more likly make it a hero

However I suppose the Chaos Hydra could replace Emporer Hydra

You've got a better idea for blood maiden? Because the one you mentioned doesn't sound very interesting. No ofence. I said harpy thinking at the H3 dungeon lvl 2 army.

1.Antichrist? um we're not on Earth with the christan bible so Antielrath would actually make sense but that doesn't sound very good if you get me a diffrent idea tell me

2. A bane is a disaster, a plague, a disease, or an evil omen don't you read Batman?

3.Well how about an Angel Prince?

4. and 5. Those have already been taken by the renagades and they thought and trademarked those so if we copy them a fallen angel shall come and destroy us all

6. The term Crusader sounds too high for a lv. 3 unit plus since their other upgrade is a squire it should be fitting that they are all knights in training

7. I thought Warlords were their regular upgrades go and check creatures to find out for sure

8. Well Druids are priests so that would be redundant

Everything else I suppose would work

Well just name three reasons that Dark Bladist isn't a good idea and I'll change it okay how's that?

Exactly. Homm3 WoG faced the same problem: The lvl8 inferno unit was named antichrist at first, but renamed to Hell Baron later due the world of HoMM not being related to Christ

Actully I asked for 3 things wrong with the name but what if they have cleave, higher defence and hitpoints but w/o no Retaliation?
