Keep in mind, supposedly HoMM 6 will add 2 more towns, for 11 total. We may see them in H6 as the Tier 7 unit for one of the new towns.

Swamp AND Naga? I think not. I'm thinking (post ToE) There will be Swamp:Naga, Wastelands:Faceless, and AlternatePlane:Conflux.

Naga lends itself to clear water, not swamp. They're more of a river-dwelling race, I belive. Still, as long as there's a swamp town, in any form, I'm satisfied. What are Faceless?
Also, for Conflux, they'd have to massively nerf the Phoenix.

I wouldn't bet on H6 having any more towns than H5.
Games that bring more races with each sequel are becoming more rare with each year.
Even disciples 3 got ripped of 40% races.

They could as well not include phoenix in conflux at all. I am against this faction being existent, as it is uber hard to balance them(since 4 main elementals should be ~equally powerful).
I also think that Free Cities worsipping Sylath can be given a faction.
Faceless... could be interesting.
Naga on swamp of course. That is a bet.

It's been said several times in the forums that HoMM 6 will have 11 towns total. Cutting towns is never a good idea anyway.

No one officialy ever said that.
At one time, someone said there will be 11 factions in new heroes universe, NOT in any particular heroes game.
And hoping to have 11 faction in h6 is a bit of dreamish imho.
And having H6 before 2010. wouldn't be good as well.

Meh. Probably 2010 is when it'll come out. Still, consensus is there at least will be a naga town. I still think behemoth will put in an appearance somewhere down the line as a level 7 creature.

Begemoth, in Bible, was the mightiest creature God made, so, IMHO, Behemoths should be ultimate neutral creatures. Or they should appear as one of the forms of a shape shifting lvl. 7 creature (as I have written here  )...

Think about - so far they managed to deliver 1 new race in every expansion (including the upcoming TotE).
Let's say that the original HOMM 6 will have one new race and will have another 2 expansions with one race each.
If they already decided more or less which races the want in the game (and it looks like they did) than that shouldn't be a problem imo.

Well, if they want Heroes 6 to be that, Heroes 6, and not just another Heroes 5 expansion, then they will have to do more than just add some new factions - they will have to give the existing ones a complete reworking. That might even meen the exit of some of the current factions (we can take bets on which ones that would be later ...).

And where did I say that they wouldn't do it?
As for the exit of the current factions, I don't think we can talk about it before we know how TotE ends.
