Install problems
I wonder if anyone can help me here - I've been trying to install HoMM3 on my new XP machine, but the "preparing to install" dialogue that comes up when you load the installer freezes on 99%. I've had this problem before (on XP too), and I somehow got around it, although I can't remember how.
Any suggestions?

Well I thought I had discovered the problem - the disk was corrupt. Luckily I had another copy of the game hanging around - but this one (unopened) wouldn't work either. In the end I gave up and installed it on another machine. I think it must be due to the dual processors, media center edition or something.
Just thought you'd like to know...
