Actually Bible says that all men are children of God but that some were corrupted by Satan.
I'll see if I can dig up a passage.

Jesus never actually said that... He was cool with all people equally.
I mean, as far as I know. And no one really knows for sure; I mean even the gospels differ from each other in nearly all occasions...

My definitely favourite quote:

"It might not seem fair, but then, no one said it would" - Terry Pratchett.

Of course it doesn't make sense. Only love and nature make sense in life.

Again to repeat According to the Bible all men are children of God. But during life they get corrupted. So no gay men are not spawn of Satan but rather corrupted by him according to Christian believes.
Now where in the Bible it says things against homosexuals. Sodom and Gomorrah story in Old Testament were where many sins were committed by humans. These included sexual sins such as rape, incest, homosexual intercourse.
One of the episodes to show how sick the inhabitants were of the cities in the Bible is when angels come to Lot and his family (the only righteous people found) the citizens of the city try to storm the house in order to rape the angels.

well, if he does he shouldn't.. Bible texts are metaphores; trying to understand them directly makes the reader extremely confused at best (or, like Ashrah, annoyed )

Catholisism isn't logical. It's a bunch of traditions that developed over the years and that they never wanted to let go of. I prefer lutheran religion.

No offence to any catholics, eh?

They aren't that common here (if any), as I can see It's good to see something different than in my home country, where everybody is catholic. ~~

And colonel do you take those stories serious?

To certain extent.
Religious texts can't be just dismissed. They are clues to the past. Through them it is possible to analyse the view of life the people had, their psychology and their understandings of science as any other literary work from the past these texts are helpful in historical and archaeological research.
As for the Bible, it is a historical document of a sort. Large number of events have been proven to take place. The history of Kingdom of Israel through the Bible very closely reflects the other historical sources that are available today.
So this means that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah could have existed. Whether they existed as they are described in the Bible we don't know.

The man above woman come from old, jewish texts; While a part of the Bible, they have been anulled by Christ, who called men and women equal.  Christ also never said Gays are wrong; he tought people to care for anyone, and respect the life as it is.
To say that Christianity considers gays as satan spawns is rather wrong. Let's skip the catholicism, since they listen to Pope, and the Pope spreads homophobia.

Yep one of the teachings of Jesus was to treat everybody equally. That was actually one of the things that lead his followers (apostles) to think of him as a God
Another thing is that Jesus did not say anything new. All his teachings are in Old Testament or Talmud.
What I believe happened was that interpretation of things got mixed up.
