Games similar to HoMM
I'm looking for games that are *very* similar to HoMM.
I know the DISCIPLES series and the AGE OF WONDER series. I have never played them, and I have not been able to find any gameplay trailer for them at YouTube or GameTrailers. If you have experience withe either one, please let me know what you think of them and if you would recommend them.
BTW, King's Bounty is currently being remade and should come out soon in this year. The trailer, which is available at GameTrailers.com, is looking deliciously good.

yeah. there is a thread (that I started) about it over in the Pyre. Might and Magic seems vuagely similar to Heroes, some how, and Dark Messiah has very similar charachters.

I doubt that's the kind of similarity we're looking for. HoMM is turnbased fantasy, while Might and Magic is rpg.
As for fantasy TBSes, I'd suggest the Warlords series. I remember being rather fond of the third one. (note: not Warlords Battlecry!)

Dark Messiah and the other Might and Magic games are vastly different, only some might and magic games feature some of the same monsters/names/settings/spells etc but the playing style is different.
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic shares only the name..
