I can remember now only a few of such moments.
From HoMM3:
It was about 6 years ago, I was still new to heroes, and we were playing together with a classmate on hotseat. On my turn I realized that a portal near my hero looks the same as one near his town  . I get as much army I could, got through it while his main hero was away and ended game in 3 weeks  . He was completely stunned(map was L), shortly after he reseted my PC and said 'now we are playing worms......'. I couldn't stop laughing .
This one is from fortress campaign in HoMM3 AB. Once I saw adrienne's specialty, I picked tazar from tavern and made him my main(I counted he crossovers, and was right). By the end of campaign had like 60 att, 99 def, 50 sp and 45 kn, and his level was above 40. Then I came to take last AI's town with everything I could buy - 13k gnolls, 10k lizarmen, 7k flies, 4k basils, 2,5k gorgons, 1k vyvs and half thousand hydras. But the best thing was when AI's liches (20) shot on my gnolls....... doing 5 dmg...... I burst out laughing.
Last from HoMM 3 would be not that old, like a year ago, when we played together with a friend a 'daily after-bike homm  ' on hotseat. Both of us chose random, I got malekith outright and he tazar in the second week. Map was one of mine 'uber-cheesy' XLs, and we both made godly heroes during a week(RL) or so. Mine became deeply magical (~20att&def, 41 sp, 26 kn) and his gone a true warlord (40+ de, 30+ att, sp&kn<=15). As I got orbs of silt and fire to boost my ridiculous spellpower, he wanted to use that cloak (dampener's?) to cut my spells off. And he forgot to put it on  !
I really enjoyed toring his mighty army apart with my spells, with him swearing all the time .
From HoMM 4 I remember only the last mission from barbarian campaign in original game, where I did all the creeping with the hero ONLY . He easily disposed of more than 25 blacks on his own. I enjoyed that very much .
From HoMM 5 I remember a few:
Soon after getting the game, we played with a friend on LAN. I played necro and realised that spectres are wunderwaffe on vladimir, with phantom and rise dead. It was great to masacrate him with tier 3 units in half of 2nd month .
As was marked before, using banish with Zehir during battle with Sovereign was a great feeling...
And something recent now. I was playing with a long-not-seen friend, who in meanwhile played more than me(I thought he dislikes HoMM 5, so I was surprised). He said he started to play online, and boasted of his 'supreme skills'. A simple havez rush (with attack skill - me lucky ) solved the problem of him overestimating his abilities . He played necro.

In Homm 3 I was playing the map Unleashing the Bloodthirsty, on one of the last and hardest battles on the map against the Conflux (those of you who played this map know what a nightmare this battle was) I remember the pure joy of my ancient behemoths attacking the opponents phoenixes and getting a lucky hit and then morale and attacking them again 
Wiped out nearly the entire stack

That was today. I was fighting Sinitar with Vayshan. He had XXL army and empowered spells. I didn't.
He struck my Hydras with Grims... 1/2 dead
'****ty'- I though- 'Gonna Looseee. Nah! No worries! Let's just fight to da end!'
And I fought bravely...
Only two Assasins left, but I've won!!!
Geeeeezzz! That was really satysfying...

Enemy uses Retaliation Strike on his Squires.
I attack something else with my Green Dragons.
His Griffin flies up into the clouds.
I move my Sprites away from my Druids to help my Green Dragon save my Hunters.
He moves forward with his Squires.
Griffin attacks squires.
His hero attacks the Griffins. LOL!

Hmm..., for me it's when warlock luck occurs, then when i got that pendant of mastery + urgash call long ago (i got both of them only once in my life, at least untill now).

one of my favourite ever hoeroes moment was this: it was like 2 years ago and i was still fairly new to the game and my friend was playing as the elves. I was pretty good then, had good tactics and stuff but i had never ever seen a death knight, being neural creatures and everything. Anyway he was elves with huge army and he attacked a load of them. I come back in the room and see that there is only 1 knight left, with a go next, I see it and go 'woah that looks cool!' and my friend goes ' yeah theve got a great skill called deadly strike......' the knight starts charging as he says ' there is a chance that they will kill half the enemy stack' at the moment he said stack the knight hit his prized 500+ hunters. Of course deadly strike activated and he lost most of them.

Mines is my first time playing the Tribes of East Necro Campaign. I just could not figure out why I was not leveling up correctly. After searching Age of Heroes I found out about the Skill Wheel which created a whole new way of creating Heroes.
Another is when I first used Barbarians and found out you could whip your own troops to make them move faster. That is funny.

I remember once I was playing with orcs and my enemy was dungeon. lucky me I had shatter destructive at expert and some resistant arties. My enemy had a very big army left and I had only about 50 goblins left. so he instead of attacking me with his red dragons he casts an armagedon. and believe it or not. My goblins resisted and my enemy lost the battle. the day after I took over his castle with my secondary hero.
