Problem with firewall.

Ok so my problem is that i am getting the error when connecting to friends game:
"There was an error trying to connect to this session...."

I am using sygate firewall. The game works when putting it off, but not   when on. I have tried allowing some of the needed ports with sygate, but haven't got it working yet.

Could anyone tell me how to get HOMM3 work with sygate?

Have you tried enabling the firewall to allow internet access with homm3?

btw, you should check out this thread: How can I solve my online gaming problems

yes I've tried, that topic only helps me how to allow the ports with windows firewall. The problem is with sygate, can't just make it work with it.

Maybe using a different firewall might help?

I use Zonealarm and I am able to still play homm3, but I can't play it anymore because of problems with the ports within my router thing.

Couldn't be bothered fixing them.

Well, sygate has served me well, I don't want to change it. I am asking if here is any sygate user that knows how to get heroes work with sygate.

Ok I made an advance rule with the sygate allowing all ports with heroes3.exe

Could someone come test the game with me with gamespy now?

Tested, and worked! No need for help anymore.

If anyone needs to know how it works, here it is:

Go to Tools-Advanced Rules. Press Add.

Select "Allow this traffic" as action. Go to Applications and select heroes3.exe and aphex.exe(gamespy). That's it. Press ok.
