the wardancer is way better than the plague zombie or horned overseer, and equal to most of tier2 units except of course the fury

Indeed. The War Dancer could get two more in defense or attack and one in either speed or initiative, that would balance it a bit...I relly dont know.

Umm, what is that good for..? If you want pit spawns to fight, use tele assault.. >_> The rest of demon army is high-initiative AND speed.. underpowered.

It'll be very nice for sieges, you just teleport outside, pull the archers outside, and your fliers/teleporters can't get swarmed by the entire enemy army.

Sharpshooters?What if the chance of ignoring the stacks defense is 20 or 15 percent?That would not be that overpowered and really the stats of the sharpshooter should be lowered so it can be compared to the master hunter.And seduce I think should not be able to be cleansed.Why? Because
its a ability not a spell and maybe it depends in the creature stack which tier creatures can be seduced.

PS.the factions are getting more interesting and non of them is underpowered.

dont worry about that; in H3, splitting devils or bone dragons wont make a difference, the total is still at -1 luck/morale to the enemy...

Seems that deflect missile will become more used, even when there is less new shooters
some of these new creature abilities seems either under or overpowered, but i trust nival that they know what they are doing.

And to those who freaks out *coughdoomforgechoughcough!* because of the sharpshooters, succubus temptress, and obsidian golems abilities, remember that there will also be and come new tactics to counter these abilities.

In short, its not how good abilities they have, but how you use them

it want to see how you manage to "counter tactic" a horde of paladins puppeted by a tier 4 unit.... or a a shot that ignores 75% of your defense without penalty before you'll even be able to think deflect missle.... no my friend there are abilities that will be ridicolous (sharpshooter) no matter how genius your counter tactics will be

Once again, it should be said that we need to know the exact details on the new abilities. Nival has actually been pretty good in balancing the new units, and I will assume there will be some condition on the Seduce ability, such as Target HP < Succubus Temptress HP. Also, we have not have confirmation on the 75 % defence ignoring shots of the Sharpshooters. The official information provides no reason to believe this unit does other than ignore range and push back target; so the 75 % Defence reduction might be a misunderstanding.

First of all, sharpshooters are still shooters, and can therefore be tied up by creature like dragons, riders and other fast units, before they can deal to much dammage.
The seduce is probably not as good as it sounds, and it can only be used once per. battle, and i am guessing that a cleasing would be able to remove it. And who does use destructive spells on golems anyway? in the end, there is always a tactic that can counter the abilities.

Well, considering that Puppet Master is easily the most powerfull spell in the game, handing it to a level 4 unit unconditionally is overpowered, even if you can only use it once per game. Imagine a stack of Elder Druids with Implosion in their spellbook to get the picture.

Well yes, exactly - of course, you could counter it, just like you will be able to counter 100 Sharpshooters easily with 100 Black Dragons, but that does not change the fact that No Range Penalty + 75 Defence Reduction would be blatantly unballanced.

as i said before, i trust that nival knows what they are doing, or maybe its just a translation error. Noone really knows untill the game is published.
