I don't think Crag Hack will be back. he's just a legend mentioned throughout the campaigns.

So was the H4 world, but some managed to survive. It's about tradition. I guess GoP deals with those heroes though

HoMM3 and 4 were suppose to work together in story, the world was about to be destroyed and then someone made a portal to a new world - Ashan lies somewhere not in the world of Erathia and enroth (Cannot remember the names) - So nothing to do with each other, thats why no of the old heroes are in this game, That Markal actully talks about Sandro is a HUGE mystery to me... But As I understand, Ashan is not near Erathia(now destroyed) and enroth(AInt that HoMM2?) -

No universe, new traditions, cheesy homages, end of story. Nobody says that Markal's mentor was the Sandro we knew and it has already been stated that the old heroes will not return. Ubi decided to start anew when they got the rights of the franchise.

I am not so sure I was fond of H4 world though I do miss some heroes. It was h3 that I liked but 3do discarded it so a new universe is not bad at all. I admit that I like many of the faction changes, lore and the way they are structured

the difference is, Radar, that Nival said that there will be no orcs in HommV (because probably they wanted to use nagas) meaning that they will be in hommVI but about these old heroes they said that we won't see them in Ashan, they are just teasing.

Crag Hack is probably sitting in the halls of Valhalla right now, feasting on pigs and drinking oceans of ale.
But it would be nice to have an Orc hero that has the attack skill speciality. That wouldn´t be unrealistic?

No, I am not sure, since we have male Nymus in h5, while in h3 it was female We already have Sandro arties. About the story, I'll link it when I'll find it. I think I read it somewhere...

It's mentioned in the necro campaign, Sandro was Markal's mentor and lord of Heresh and will defeated when Cyrus invaded their lands and drove the rest of the necromancers away.
I told you, no connection just a mere homage. The devs would not lie about not bringing old heroes back, especially when many fans were infuriated about it. The most they could do is make it so Ashan people know about them.

I'm also hoping that they'll make some new heroes...
And female models would be a nice touch (and I think male model for dungeon - that hero looks like Yrbeth )
Ad I liked that in H3 you had human heroes in Inferno and Elf heroes in Conflux and a Genie (  ) in Stronghold ... I hate this purely-one-race-thing-heroes... I would like more variety and mixed nations( more types of towns in one country)...
