That would also close off the ability to reject the statement, Anyway here is my list:

-H5 Toe
-H4 Equilibris (conceptually incredible, take a look at the editor, you have the h5 editor x10)
-H2 Price of Loyalty (my first heroes game)
-H3 Sod
-H1
-H5 Original (A strategy game without an editor, never!)

Heroes III definitely was more balanced

What? I think Heroes V is best balanced in the series so far. Only some advantages in short or long games but nothing like Conflux and Necropolis from Heroes III.
LOOOOOOOOOOOL
I challenge you to repeat that today lol.

Well most of the players that say Heroes 5 sucks (like you did when making this thread) are definitely nostalgic and didn't even try to play it seriously for a few weeks, but immediately 'threw it in the trash bin' (not literally, of course)

@Lexxan
Umm it is? Don't tell me that H1, 2, 3 or 4 had better balance. Do you have any idea how many rules were used in some H3 tournaments to make the competition fairer? And let's avoid the topic of order imbalance.

Urm... Arcane Archers? Crossbowmen? Rune of Ressurrection? Rune Stacking? Wyngaal? MotW Spawining with Expert Meteor Shower? Imbue Ballista?

Very imbalanced!

(though I do remember getting a Legion of Skeletons in H2 in month 2)

Hey, Heroes II had great balance.  If you kick out the Warlocks.  And Necros.  And Knights.  And half of the spells.

I do not agree.
I think H5 is the best in the series.
If I would make a review then I would rate it like this:

Sound: 10/10
The music in H5 is fantastic as are most other "sounds". I think its the best music etc in the series so far.
Lets see if H6 can beat it.

Gameplay: 7/10
H5 is a very fun game to play and in my opinion, the gameplay is the best so far in the series too. There are of course creatures I absoluty hate (Ghosts, Gargoyles etc).

Story: 6/10
Although the story was kind of weak for a HoMM game  - I still enjoy Ashan and its dragonlore.
The story in TotE was excellent and finally made sense. It feels like Ashan got a good start storywise.
I mean, Warcraft 1 was basically "Orcs attack from the Underworld! But humans, champions of heaven, will defeat them!".
Ashan is not like that.

Balance: 6/10
Its the most balanced in the series, but still there are some ridiculous overpowered creatures and there are alternate upgrades you basically never use.

Feeling/Atmosphere: 7/10
One of the weak points in HoMM5 is the roleplay. Still, Ashan has a very good atmosphere, raising its points very high.

Changes from other games in the series etc: 10/10
While staying loyal to the successful H3, H5 still had some very nice and apprecated changes.
The unique skill systems is great and there are lots of actual useful spells (hello h3) and abilities and skills etc.

Graphics: 9/10
There is something special about H5 graphics that makes me love it. The Rakshasae are just freaking awesome!
Still, some creatures look ridiculous. But the towns are awesome.

I would give H5 8/10 overall.

You think ToTE finaly made sense? In my own oponion, ToTE was the worst part (campaign wise) in H5. I simply loved how things turned out in HoF, and most of that was ruined in ToTE.
Some people may not agree with me know, espacially Dark messiah fans, but I think the Necro Campaign was unnecessary or at least took too much space, since it didn't have much to do with Heroes storyline except freeing Isabels Soul (Yeah, when was her memories taken from her anyway?). The Orc Campaign felt very good and I enjoyed that a lot. Then there is Zehir, who once again gets to do more in one campaign than all of the previous ones together.
The final scenario is also, IMO, a fail. In H5 there was the great figting scenario, and in HoF (I know, I love HoF) a nice time-limited town scenario. I think the last svenario in ToTE felt...wrong, somehow.

Still, I love ToTE in general It's just the campaign who somehow feels wrong and rushed.

Haha. Well, the campigns is the thing I focus on most in Heroes. (Yes, Really) because I still haven't figured out how to play on Ubi, most of my friends doesn't like Heroes, and the ones who do don't have the energy to play through a whole scenario. So it's mostly Campaigns and Duels for me lol

I focus mostly on campaigns too..Campaigns were my favourite part of every HOMM game, although I had a  hard time winning some of them lol.I'm sorry I started this thread in the first place,I feel bad now.I guess I was very, very mad when I wrote it,and I think I was mad because I like Heroes III a little too much and couldn't accept H5,a really stupid reason when I think of it now.Anyway, after (finally) deciding to give Heroes V a chance, slowly,I started to like it.I got used to 3D pretty fast too.Since most of my friends don't like,or never played Heroes V  either ,I decided to tackle the campaigns after winning some single player maps.As for the expansions,I loved them, they gave H5 a  big boost.

If you don't know something, just ask. You just have to select Multi->Ubi.com and type the code written in the manual. Afterwards, everything is really self-explanatory.
