Its not such imporant now. But you have no reason to worry about it.

And how are you gonna solve the extra tier of upgrades? It will seems a bit outstanding that 7 other towns have 2 upgrades, but Conflux not...

Extra tier? You mean alternatives? This mod is planned for HoF, hell knows how modding rules will be changed with TotE!

Btw why replace Fortress? Couldnt you just copy a town,

lets say the Fortress then or take random elements from other towns and voila' you get a Conflux town without removing a town and its creatures, IIm sure Im gonna miss the dwarves in this patch

I grant you we now what we are doing... You'll miss dwarves? You are not forced to install the mod...

But if its ok White wolves would be great, as honor to the White tigers in H4 with the prefix white

But If someone could help me with finding the textures by opening the data,pak file, I could maybe take the burden to paint them white

But first, can someone help me with a step to step guide.
Im at the data folder or should I go for the dataa1 folder?
anyway, how do I open the data.pak file?
And I guess the files I edit, well should be copied first before I mess around with them.

I can work on a wolf upgrade texture.  What should it be, standard white wolf?  Cause sorry, but that's just lacking in originality.  

I want to do werewolf, but I don't know how to code it.  Here's  at thought:  Is is possible to have something where when running and attacking the unit takes on the shape of the wolf (retextured) but during normal standing, taking hits, and rejoicing it has the texture of a rather hairy blade dancer?  The werewolf would have increased defensive capabilities.  Also, (this is a stretch) what about something where 8% of the werewolf's kills get added to it's numbers?  Like the old fashioned Ghost.  Also, since the Werewolf is low level, it would be less likely to kill units, and thus would not be overpowered.

If this is too much, I can do standard White Wolf, but it would be really awesome as Canis Lycanthropis.

Great idea Daystar. Well werewolves at tier 1 Yeah...could go but Werewolves would be more fitting at middle levels since they usually are very though. Could maybe switch them with the blade dancers? Or with hunters and then let the hunters get spot 2. Just a suggestion...

Werewolves don't sound very slyvan they sound more a neutral because they don't fit anywhere to vicious for slyvan to living for nercopolis to not on fire for inferno maybe the dwarves instead of berserkers.

Or, If you have no comprehenshion how the texture modding look like just leave this for better people.

I would rather see something else that Werewolf. It doesn't fit as wolf upgrade. Why do you want to do, Charnobyl mutation?

White Wolf would be a good alternative, with slight glowing eyes.

Someone could add werewolves as tier 4 or 5 neutral.

Well, let's see them pumping out a major project.  We are doing GotP, we are doing Conflux.  Nya!

Anyway, how do I set it so that the blade dancer will play the wolf's animation when running?  Show me running and I got the rest.  I think it would be cool to have like a flash when there is a transform, but I will not ask for miracles.

It will likely be dropped down the tier if Radar decides to move the Psychic/Magic Elementals to level 6.

getting back to the werewolf posts...

wolf-dire wolf perhaps? werewolves dont seem like very good teir one creatures. much better tier 4/5. maybe they could replace Unicorns? just a segestion.

So you'd like Wolves at level 1, Werewolves at level 5, and no Unicorns, am I right?  That's a little strange... but not a bad idea.  To avoid complete confusion I think we should just go with the boring Wolf -> Bigger, Stronger Wolf plan.

I don't think werewolves should be a part of the sylvan lineup, they just don't fit the mood of the town. Wolves, on the other hand, seem to be a good choice for level one.

Thats fortress to conflux mod, if you forgot. Wolves goes to tier 1 because pixies went to new town. I do not want to see any werewolves.
