Even if I know anyone from Nival, I wouldn't be allowed to release any images by myself now would I? All the images here can/could be found somewhere around the internet.
I would appreciate it if anyone could check out this site slipgate.ru for HoMMV art. It's a site for three artists, one of which worked on the game. But only some people can see the content. I myself can't.

I prefer the current Green and Emerald Dragons.
These two look like Dragons from childern comics.

You're not the only one GL, I think these look not terrible, but at least worse than what we ended up with. Also, I tried archive.org to see if there was anything from the Slipgate site, but all I can see on the saved copies are a few news posts and some contest stuff, plus two images. My understanding of Russian is pretty limited, so I might be missing something (I think the forum pages weren't catalogued).

These dragons look more like their predecessors from H3: all spiny and shiny.

Yeah, thats actually true Daystar. Theese dragons have more details and cool stuff than the ones we have now. In fact both the Rampart dragons and the Dungeon dragons in HOMM3 are more detailed and have cooler stuff than the Sylvan and Dungeon dragons in HOMMV

I think the redish colors on the Emerald dragon was a bit unfitting (but nice nontheless, contrast rich) Recolored both to be a bit more greenish and emeraldish. Sry I just had to

Well, some of the colours remind me of algs/algas (sorry if that's misspelled) and corals and seashells, but..... wait a second...... You know what guys? We have our new Coral Dragon! Cheers Bring the champagne!

Yes, I had the same thought. I think it's because of the thing that stands up on the neck and back, don't know the proper word for it.
Orfinn > I really like the re-coloured Emerald Dragon. I agree that the red was too much of a contrast, that one looks beautiful.
