This might sound ungrateful,but could anyone with a bit of spare time,plz put up some more scenery art,like lands and castle's e.t.c.!!
And btw,this post is awesome,thumbs up to started it and everyone who contributed 
I've now got an awesome slide show/screen saver running,thx all

G'day daystar
Yep,it would be good for new post on lands and castles when u got the time to get it going.I'm always too busy juggling painting and decorating,young family and trying to get as good as everyone else on HOMM5(lol)to be hunting this kind of stuff down 
Also can you,or someone else be able to point me to a good program to enlarge small pix to wallpaper size without distorting or losing pic quality?

Here are some high resolution versions of a few pieces of artwork if anyone is interested:

The files are saved as .png (great quality but big files, the original format was .tiff, same quality but bigger files). It's about 16MB. The files are as follows:

5. Prison (1700 x 2790)

Well, they are pretty good, but they kinda have no real place in the lineup. I mostly just leave them at the starting position, guarding the shooters. They are too frail to toss them out into the heat of the battle with no defensive abilities like the Blood Furies (I never really use Blood Maidens because they don't have the no retaliation ability, either). The alternate with Aura of Bravery should be more useful, though.

Are you sure... I thougth this was a Orc Garrison. Besides they don't look too similar (sorry but last I played WoW was 2 years ago)

Ogrimmar has stone walls, but it looks a lot like the smaller orc villages with wooden pallisades, indeed.

Well it's not that easy as you may think it is. But the artist that done the hero portraits for the first and second expansion is Adrian Smith if I am not mistaken. He has a website here: http://www.adriansmith.co.uk/
