That lazer was probably symbolical only to show how could the ugly face the cyclops made on attack affected enemy creatures

Lol I doubt any of these is close to what we'll get. 50 attack would be overpowering with the bloddrage and a cyclops with low does not add up.

As for the symbolical use of laser I say that you think more complicated than required

I'd stay to the lazer cyclops because of the area of damage the laser will have,but I'd like to throw goblins at the enemy as well.Do you think the throw goblin ability will have an area of attack like 3X3 tiles of hit just one stack of creatures?

No, the units for the Orcs have been more or less confirmed. They are(exluding upgrades):
1 Goblins
2 Centaurs
3 Orc Warriors
4 Orc Shamans
5 Orc Butchers(chieftain kind of unit)
6 Wyverns
7 Cyclopses
There will be no new neutral units. So Orges and Behemoths are no an option until Heroes VI or a WoG-kind mod for Heroes V.

I luv the new cyclops except their feet! Did the Dark Messiah cyclopses have such feet? NO! Though these ones may be the smarter and more gigantic ones. Guess the ones in DM are more of the wild kind, and maybe even more numerous...

It just isn't logical for a giant humanoid to attack with a lazer beam from its eye.it makes no sense to me.Do they need a surgery?Do shamans place some magical crystals in their eyes?How?Still grabing trees and smashing everything with high attack,throwing goblins,eating goblins and smashing walls is awesome

The new cyclopses have hooves. The ones in DM also have hooves, only another kind of hooves. The new ones have more Goat-like hooves, while the DM ones had more Elephant-like hooves. And Yes, Elephants do have hooves. So the DM Cyclops might just be a smaller subspecies.

Well I've seen the German movie and at some points the jurnalist hovers his mouse over the Cyclopes revealing their stats. So i tried to see them with a magnifying program and here is what I get :
Attack 44 (enhanced by hero)
Defence 25 (enhanced by hero)
Dmg 40 - 80 (enhanced by hero)
Hp 222 or 277 (enhanced by hero)
initiative 9 (enhanced by hero)
speed 5
shots 0
mana 0
Now i don't know if these are indeed good (the image is still very blury) i may be mistaken.

Seems okay comparing to all the other tier 7 stats.. Lowest defense, but highest Att. And Dmg is good, since they can deal low or high dmg. I think its 222HP .. I would love to see 10 in ini. Since well Its slow  and 5 is low - but about Speed and ini. they told us that

I'm afraid Cyclops have only 8 initiative if 9 was already enhanced. But there where one creature special what increases all creatures initiative by +1 and maybe upgrades will be bit faster at least 9 like Fire\Magma Dragons have.
