Well everyone, the DEFS for ingame battle is made ... but I have alot of troubles with my programs and stuff, so I don't get to finish it, it seems. Although, I will release what I have made so far (in-battle graphics) and hope you'll enjoy it. If any of you want to change the stats and abilities in your own games you can do that, this is the stats that I've come up with (although I don't know which ones, since I can't see what I made, I have problems with defview and stuff)

Anyway, here it is.

Wolf
Health: 8
Attack: 6
Defense: 4
Speed: 10
Damage: 2-3
Cost: 110
Abilities: Attack twice

Possessed Peasant
Health: 2
Attack: 5
Defence: 2
Speed: 2
Damage: 2-5
Cost: 30
Abilities: Can attack 3 adjacent enemies at once, flyer.

Reaper
Health: 60
Attack: 16
Defence: 12
Speed: 8
Damage: 15-20
Cost: 1000
Abilities: Death stare, undead, casts death ripple every 3 round.

Pit Wyvern
Health: 90
Attack: 16
Defence: 16
Speed: 10
Damage: 20-30
Cost: 1600
Abilities: Cast Weakness at attack, 40% chance to poison enemy, flyer.

Deep Drake
Health: 180
Attack: 18
Defence: 16
Speed: 8
Damage: 30
Cost: 2500
Abilities: Immune to earth magic, 2-hex attack.

Wild Minotaur
Health: 50
Attack: 13
Defence: 12
Speed: 8
Damage: 14-18
Cost: 400
Abilities: Morale is never below 1.

Arctic Wizard

Attack: 16
Defence: 8
Speed: 6
Damage: 15-25
Cost: 2500
Abilities: Ice Bolt or Frost Ring attack.

Now i can make some better DEF files , pallettes now is not the problem anymore ( may be )

This MOD almost finished , all works from last year, now EDN decide to free them all good news for everyone ( not me i ready have them all ). Hope EDN will come back and make some more

Not really, it's just graphics. I can't use any of the WOG-tools anymore, for some reason I don't know. Playing the game works until I get too high stack experience. Any scripting, map-making, creature-making won't work, since the programs won't do anything but ... deny me from using them.

I'm working on it, trying to make it work better. First thing I'm up to is to get the programs running, then I am gonna finish this thing! Almost all the stuff were finished, now I have almost everything, so it shouldn't be too difficult just making it once more.



Just wonder if anyone can help me? This is kinda annoying, since it stops me from making DEFS and even taking a look on those already made

Try to use DEF Preview instead old DEF Viewer:

If you want to get the DEFS you can wait a few days and you will hopefully have a .wog file to put in your UPDATE folder

However the spell death ripple cant be scripted to occur every 3 rounds (unless you  configure a special  battle). At ACE ability it will have a 50% chance to be casted before attack. If wanna lower or higher chance modify here (after /24/ there are the % of casting spell. If you put 100 at the end death ripple will occur every time. ( ACE only )

They will still launch beneficial or hostile mass spells. I think this is hardcoded.  So you will have sometimes mass slow+ death ripple. Or haste + death ripple etc.

before attack he will have a 50% chance to cast mass death ripple. Only at ACE level, at lower levels the chance will be lower obviously. You have to enable experience script to make this work.

Sounds awesome ^^ you know a lot about scripting (or some at least)? Would you be able to give creatures deathstare, flying movement, change stats, etc... ? Would be easier to focus on finishing the creature graphics if I didn't have to struggle with that stuff

All that would be easy. I don't know about scripting a lot but what you ask is very basic.

I can do it, once the map is ready. But I can also explain you how to do it, and would be much better, as it gives you full control on your ideas. It is quite simple.

For changing creatures stats, there is already a tool which does it for you.

You need scripting only for abilities.

I know, I have that tool. But I also have no idea how to put a script actually into the game ... I really suck at modding, the only thing I can is making the creatures. Anyway, I will write more when I know more and have done more.
