Could you have something where the battlefeild after x amount of time floods?   Either at random or because of a powerful water elemental?  And the water deals damage to all non-water creatures on the feild?  Then the water goes away when you smite the water elemental.

Hmm I'm not sure if fusing with the NCF is a good idea, but I'll tink about it.

This new combat is a great idea, but I'm not sure if I could make a visual flood, damaging all non-water monsters is possible however. Actually you have almost total control over the battle, if you know the right methods.

Yeah, I looked at the triggers afterwards and there probobally isn't a way.  You think they would have included a few things (point lights, SetTerrainType (x-tile, y-tile, terrainname), SetTerrainPointHeight (x-point, y-point, height), CreateObject (works like creature)

Yeah that would be logically, did you know that when you view the game's exe in a hex editior you can see a list of every single function? There are also a lot more functions than the editior or guide knows, I'll see if I can find anything useful.

Unfortunatly, that one only works outside combats, so I don't think the light can be changed in combat

By the way, since when have you been talking with a French accent?

Back again after being ill this week, but here I am with no updates but I have an idea for a combat although it's not complete yet. My idea was that the opponent has the exact same creatures and amounts as the player (Scriptable) and when you damage them your creatures recieve the same amount of damage as well. That's it so far, as I said it's not complete yet, the way of winning is what I haven't thought up yet.

Well I've never selected a wrong answer either, so it's time to try it

Edit: Well is does something similar indeed, only it's not mirror like where when you damage them you get damaged as well and that's what I wanted. So I'll continue the idea.

Don't worry, just because the thread died doesn't mean I quit the project. In fact I'm working on the final Combat script, once I'm done I'll give it a testing round myself to prevent MAYOR bugs an then we'll select our beta Testers.

Yep, once that final script is done the beta will be ready.  It's been delayed for a while since we've been adding tons of new content (new heroes, bonus creatures, the new Nexus town, a skill system for the Planeswalker)...  Never fear guys, none of us are going to give up on this no matter what

Holidays have finally begun!!!!! Now I am going to work on ToK 24/7 or I would do it if I weren't leaving for a vacation this Monday and I'm sorry I'm not allowed to take a laptop with me So that's basicly what I wnted to say.

Well since the Bugs are sarting to appear less often I just wanted to let you know that I started working on Map 6, remember that is basicly has the same Map design as Map 4, so I'm modifying it first.
