2. I know that only creating our own music is very difficult and they'll end up as midi's.

@Warmonger: Well I don't think a Trailer should reveal much about the plot, have you ever seen a trailer revealing this? Yeah and showing a battle with a losing Nexus might have been a mistake of mine, perhaps I should make another video showing the Nexus?
@Xerox: Talking is not the only thing they do, and I didn't want to reveal what they say, that was intentional. Yes and I already know about the ****** music!
@Azagal: You seem to be the only one liking it I agree Crage looks awesome (Congrats Daystar) and I'm glad you like the Seal of Shadows. Thanks once more.
I was satisfied with the result of the video and I did not expect thse negative comments.

One thing nobody seems to have mentioned is the font used. Perhaps a more medieval style would suit instead of Arial?

As snotty art school student, I must say we should be able to do better, do you want some help Kronos? Cause I only have to work through this following night for school (haven't had sleep in 40 hours and still not finished) and after that I have 3 months of spare time on my hands.
(For an early draft of a trailer I like it though)

Well it seems I've let you all down with the music - as Kronos said, it always ends up sounding midi-ish, and well, I'm no composer, but I thought I'd help out since, well, if we want new music we can't exactly take music from elsewhere (or can we???). Oh well, I tried my best...

@TrikingManiak: That would be great, but I know you're a magnifiscent drawer, but do you also have experience when it comes to editing movies?
@Gnoll_Mage: I don't thing the music sucks, but perhaps they aren't used to midis so unless someone plays in an orchestra and is allowed to record some music we won't get better music.

Try newgrounds.com. They have LOTS of stuff. Mostly Techno on the front page, but there is a drop down where you can select what genre you want. (HOMM tends to be classical), I'm sure you'll find what you need.
I think the music there is free to download and use, and besides, it's not like we're looking to sell ToK.

if we are going to use other ppl's music then we'd might as well use homm music (probably homm4 music because though the game sucked, the music was awesome)

the more i listen to the classical section here the more i wish someone would tell the boys at LotA about it.. always had to kill the music.. hurt to much to listen to

I don't want this thread to die, so I'll status: I've got some problems with the script I can't seem to get the "ReplaceDwelling" function working properly.
Edit: Solved, now I can proceed further
Edit2: Finished Map 6!!!! DialogScenes for Map 7 are on their way!

Thank you 6555fdv, that was really useful But since you posted here, I can post my updates now, I finished Map seven's script and made a sketch for Map eight's design and I started working on the Map already.

here are some random homm music i found on imeem.
if we could transfer that to tok, then i think the result will be very beautiful. For example: if we used homm4 death faction music for the nexus, i believe it would be very fitting.

You can't select it as a starting faction, but I'm pretty sure you could use it in multiplayer on custom maps if two people have ToK installed. However you need a modded Map Editor to place it on any map, which we'll probably release later on.
