Sadly that's only a HOMM 2 trial version. I'd like the full version. It's quite old really. I did buy it when it was new (about a week after it was released actually), so going back to a trial now is pretty tacky. Is there no way to get the full version?

Actually I noticed that it lets you buy the full version for US $14.95, which I can get with a download. But when I try, it gives me this error message: http://fe.trymedia.com/magnus/error_code.html?error_code=na1&contentid=01d61f2d5298e915091c9c8b940e68ee&offering=60m_default

15$ is way too much for Homm2. You can get it for 5$ from ebay.

Indeed, it seems that that item sold for US $18.75
The sad thing is that I've bought 4 copies of HOMM 2 and yet don't currently have it.

I play Heroes on gametap.com, they have all they Heroes. The downside is that you don't get the map editor.

how do you get DOSbox to woke as im having trouble installing games that say they are compatable with it

There is a useful site called Ebay where you can find these things.  
Getting it free is cool, but don't just download the games, actually buy them like they were meant to be.

As for King's Bounty it comes as a bonus in the archive of Windows Version of HoMM 1 from abandonia.
HoMM1 works properly on windows (I installed it myself a few days ago ), as for KB - it works on windows, but afaik with no sound or something like that so I you might want to consider downloading DosBox from abandonia as well.
Bah. The Genesis version is the best!!!
