The fact that Nival can copy a Warcraft copyrighted character easily, without fear of suit, shows just how unoriginal Warcraft itself is.

Do oyu know how much Heroes 5 has copyed from Warcraft?

Sylvan Town-Teldrassil (its an giant tree, which the Night Elfs has made their homes in).

Do you know how much it's copied from Warhammer Fantasy, which Warcraft also draws on? Seriously, the Dungeon faction is basically a carbon clone of the Druchii, and the Inquisitor from HoMM V had to get that goofy helmet because he looked exactly like the War Priest of Sigmar.

Examples-
WHFB Witch Elf
WHFB Druchii Witch Elf
HoMM V Dungeon Blood Maiden
[/url]
WHFB Druchii Cold One Knight
WHFB HoMM V Dungeon Dark Rider

Notice anything?

Druchii also have Hydras and Black Dragons too, and the Dungeon T6 is a ripoff of the Druchii Sorceress.
And then Warcraft rips off so much from WHFB. Dwarven Gyrocopters & riflemen, orcs look the same, some elements of undead stolen, the whole "Twisting Nether" and the Burning Legion is the Warp and the forces of Chaos. How original.

To be fair, the Griffon is a creature that doesn't have a whole ton of room for interpretation. I'd be less inclined to call foul on that then say, what I just pointed out with Dark Riders and CoK.

Also, WCIII had the griffon first. The fact that Blizz's April Fools joke was intended to make noob WoW players believe WCIII was a new game indicates how far awareness that there are WC games besides WoW has fallen.

Did blizzard really do that? Man I love them! Except for WoW, it's an insult to the rest of the warcraft games, and even most RPGs too. WoW is only popular becuase of the Blizzard mark on the package and the fact that it was the first mmmorpg, that could afford publicity. And about 99% of all the creatures and characters and abilities etc comes from ancient lore, most of it should be at least a thousand years. Runes for example, the vikings I believe are the most famous for runes, (maybe Egypt, but those aren't called runes for some odd reason actually, they are basicly the same thing). That's atleast 1200 years ago, and it was probably older than that, and the trees. I woder were people living in the woods could come up with that? Oh and 99% of the remaining stuff is just ancient lore, that some one changed.

Nicolai

He is not Arthas, and I'll tell you why, he is the result of what his parents were. He is blond and has blue eyes and died in a demon invasion, just like ALEXEI and was revived and manipulated(even if not fooled)just like FIONA. he looks like arthas, but also like another hero who was here before Arthas LORD HAART if there's a copy it can only be Arthas. anyway Blizzard cannot copyright the blond princes since they hadn't invented that, and the same for Ubisoft.

I dont think Wow have copied HoMM anyway. All fantasy series share similiar elements. Like orcs, elves, humans, undead etc.
Wow is good even MoP and HoMM is great I like both.
