ooooi i had hoped to see an better inferno set... helm of chaos + ring of the broken will= -2 morale for the enemy and -1 defense for you for 3 knowledge... The bonus better be good. Probably only something with + gating % or something like that.

I would like some more necromancy artifacts and a necromancy artifact-set like in HOMM3 The Shadow of Death. But then they would have to make artifact-sets for the other racial abilities too or it would be unbalanced. Perhaps it's best without it.

Because its Boring compared to the Ogre club! 5attack -5%ini >>> 2attack. And the thing that you actually loose some artifacts when retreating is very interesting... finally you get the SP arties of the hit and run warlocks

It's just one that's included in the sets, but there will certainly be more others... and I hope no more useless ones...

Interesting that there are so many sets with only 2 artifacts. So it will be pretty easy to get them once in a while. I just hope they are not too powerful.

i dont like the looks of the ring of unsummoning. doesnt banish destroy gated units after all?
and i can see a lot of people fighting over a artifact called princess aelina.. oh yes

Just ask any dungeon player what happens if your enemy happens to have shackles..

and leaving artifacts behind is quite close to being shackled, lol.

Yes, obviously this is minded mostly at Dungeon. But don't forget that Dungeon now gets units that are much more durable and capable in combat with several of the alternatives. I think this is envoked to force Dungeon players to not only rely on Destructive magic and hit'n'run, but to aim for a more, might I say, balanced play style.

My guesses about Artifact effects:

Crown of Leader: Morale increased.

Mask of Doppelganger: Hero will look different to enemies.  Simmilar to the disguise spell of H3.

Edge of Balance:
Ring of Machine Affinity: Machines (war, golems) will have an increase.

Horn of Plenty: +1 of each precious recourse.  Haunt mines is more effective.

Treeborn Quiver: Archers have more attack and shots based on how much wood the player is (REDICULOUSLY overpowered in late game)

Book Of Power: MAJOR spell power increase.  Increases skill in Magic (eg, Basic Dark Magic >> Advanced Dark Magic)

Ring of Unsummoning: Decreases the power of summoned/gated magic.

without cleansing, even the most powerful army means less than nothing. Without any means of buffing, your creatures are automatically worthless compared to (buffed) creatures of your opponent.

Hit'n'run is annoying, yes, and most of the good dungeon players don't need it, but it is the only way of winning in lategame, not that you can't win earlier but it's sad to see that you now can't win after a certain ammount of time.

 Edge of balance : maybe a weapon that offers Attack but also Defence in equal share.

 Treeborn Quiver : i think that it gives ranged units in your army a bonus shot similar to Sylvans archers (witch gain 3 shots because they already have two)

 Book of power : I would say that all your spells are cast on expert level
